Caver in the passage that approaches the Washing Machine from Virgin Passage, Dan Yr Ogof, Swansea Valley, South Wales
Part of the street art installation - i'm attributing it to Will Coles, but i could be wrong. There was a couple of his coke can's in the area as well as a 'gothic'.
Never. Never never never felt a knitting project without putting it into a bag. We pulled this nasty-looking wad of felt out of the pump of our washer.
(No, I don't have any photos of taking the pump apart, sorry. But it holds way more water than you think. Be ready for almost a gallon.)
This is my grandmother's retro washing machine (complete with wringer). I brought it home after cleaning out her garage with the plan of turning it into an outdoor beer cooler. I haven't gotten around to that yet and unfortunately the washer has suffered a few winters outside.

60yrs Old , The First Hoover Washing Machine, First Produced 1948. It consisted of a metal tub on a frame with the famous Hoover Washing Impeller in the side of the tub. Not even a heater , mains switch or pump on it . To empty you dropped the hose into a bucket or floor drain. Easy to lift and carry about and to store under a kitchen drainer or under the stairs .
Many of these were rented out weekly, a local dealer would bring one on a van for you to rent for the day , often women organised themselves and passed it to their neighbours & family to do the family wash .

Don't know what caused the coloring, maybe the filter on my lens did it. There was some sunlight, and opposite of the washing machine were some colored towels, but by eyesight the colors were not there, only when I looked through my camera.
LATE :/ sorry
Anywho. Yesterday, the 26th, was spent dying of girl related pain n sickness, getting far too upset, thinking far too much, reading Feed, hanging out with Kat n Cody, watching like 4 straight hours of American Ninja Warrior, n missing my Ryan.
Yup, thats basically it.
Sticky note. I like dogs, theres no story behind why I like this dog. I just like big dogs.
I also like doing laundry, I think its fun! I love putting something dirty into a giant tub of water, pouring soap (preferably blue soap) all over it, closing the lid, reopening it to find those dirty things now clean, putting those wet clean clothes in a giant spinning heat box, and pulling them out to be dry n clean n fresh n perfect. Maybe Im just weird but I love laundry!
For me this is how all washing machine dispensers should be, smooth clear sides, no nooks and crannies that you find on most other washers, the pre-wash compartment is rear right - good because you tend not to use this much which gives more space to load the main wash compartment (LHS) with either powder or liquid detergent and the fabric conditioner dispenser on the (RHS)
This is easily removable for cleaning when required although the flush fill jets do a great job clearing away all residues.
