With all the new research about barefoot walking/running being better for your posture, I've wondered whether I could work/live/play without shoes (within reason).
Socks let you be "barefoot" without being cold.
I like how warm the facade of Karambunai Resort is - this wrought-iron lamp just lends a modern twist to it. Lovely resort for golfers and lazers alike :P
Before I bring the camera in from the cold, I protect it from condensation by bagging it up in two zipper bags. I leave it in the bags for a few hours or overnight. Of course, I take out the CF card so I can edit my photos.
It was really cold at the market. Hyungkyung and I warmed our hands over the coal while Gavin and Hyungjin talked with the fishmonger about our potential dinner.

The sunrise on the south shoulder of Mt Hood is visible above the fog that flooded the valley. Our house, at nearly 300' elevation, was eventually covered. Autumn.

Check out my ultra fancy room candle. It smells gorgeous! By Thursday night I had got myself a cold and was trying to face the bitter cold outside by sitting in relaxing hot water inside. I like having a bath, but not with candles only. Usually the light comes on for reading.

It really is so much easier to see the variation standing back from it & in a photo. When I was trying to figure out where I wanted all the pieces it seemed much less contrast-y.

I was going through my older post and looking at all my beach photos. We have had such a hard winter (I am sure not as hard as you all up north), but for us Floridians, it has been a very odd winter.
