A very warm dawn @ Lower Seletar, Singapore
The structure is a Kelong-like Bridge - Kelong is a off-shore wooden platform for catching or farming fish. It is a traditional fishing method used in Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippine.
It's the end of a lovely day, having enjoyed the Autumn beauty at Four Bridges. But with Autumn, comes cooler temperatures. I'm thankful for a cozy fire to warm me up while I recall all the splendor I've experienced today.
It is still unseasonally warm here - we haven't even had a proper frost let alone snow, however I am lucky that, though there is plenty of rain, we haven't had the torrental rain and floods that northern England, Wales and Scotland have suffered. Many people have had their homes flooded and spent Christmas without electricity or were unable to spend Christmas at home at all.
A few of my photos, including this one, are now available as prints or printed on gifts etc. at here or licenses can be purchased here.
Thank you for your visit, comment or fave. All are much appreciated. Thank you also to all who invite my photos to their groups.

This song reminds me of autumn days, a change in the weather, hot coffee, cuddles, comfort, and warmth with those we love most. It is all the good things I wish for you (and me) this weekend.
Happy Friday all!
Stay Warm - George Taylor
When you're walking in the winter
With the snow beneath your feet
When you feel the cold and shiver
And the light streams through the trees
Put a heavy coat around you
And I'll just wish it could be me
And stay warm
If I could, I would, I'd be there
You shouldn't have to walk alone
I've been drifting through December
Don't know when I'm coming home
And my bottles almost empty
And I'm running out of ways to stay warm
And I've been dreaming of you almost every night
Then I wake up, you're not there by my side
When I come back I'll give you my love
And I hope that you've not given up
'Cause I've been trying everything
But I can only sing to stay warm
To stay warm
Taken at Winterland - Adagio Gardens
Taken on warmer days. I ventured on an aborted walk today. The temperature was -21 C, and the wind slapped my cheeks with frozen drizzles forcing a U-turn to the comfort of my study. The camera nearly got glued/welded to my palm. Keep warm, my friends.😉
The silence before what is to come....thoughtful spaces waiting to be filled....and sometimes, just being prepared isn't enough....

Crazy Tuesday theme -- Autumn
The air was cool this autumn day but the sunshine was warm so naturally the Canada geese had staked out the one warm place.
We came across this Black-Crowned Night Heron (Nycticorax nycticorax) just off the trail at Circle B Bar Reserve (CBBR) near Lakeland, Florida. Initially, he appeared to be sleeping but then he opened his left eye. It may be that one way birds lose body heat is through their beaks. This guy seems to be keeping his beak warm by tucking it under his feathers. He measures 23-28 inches (58-70 cm) from beak-tip to tail-tip.
