Waited a long time hoping that something other than this fly like Insect to come near the flowers - dunno how everybody else is able to get shots with bees and other fatter insects :(

A holiday charity FlaskMob photo walk in LA, November 2015.
Meet started up in the warehouse in LA's South Central area, and participants were encouraged to bring along toys to donate. Group would then walk over to the fire station by USC to deliver and drop off toy donations.
Shenanigans ensued along the way, and LAPD was curious :)

Looking back at it, Los Angeles' photo meet culture/scene from 2014 to early pandemic years, was really an amazing, next level, experience.
Those events would regularly bring together amazingly creative individuals from different walks of life, from different experiences and backgrounds. They would be foundation of a vibrant and thriving culture and forge lasting relationships for participants involved.
I had stumbled upon the scene in early 2015, as I was getting more serious about learning photography, and participated in my fair share of meets. Figured it would be worth posting shots from those days, just keep a record of that experience.
Seyðisfjörður is a small village in the Eastfjords of Iceland at the end of the fjord of the same name. The village is a scenic 27 km drive from Egilsstaðir. Seyðisfjörður is surrounded by mountains on three sides and there are many waterfalls around the town. Seyðisfjörður is also well-known for its old wooden buildings.

Am Abend trafen wir uns zum Essen im Café KEDAI NAMSUN. Hier ist noch alles wie zu Zeiten der Holländer, es gibt feine traditionelle Speisen. Die Mutter des jungen Besitzers YEHEZ kocht wunderbar und er führte uns durch das alte Haus und erzählte uns dessen Geschichte. Mr Oahkbar hat in einer Ecke sein Bücher Antiquariat eingerichtet, HANA lehrt Koreanisch in Yogyakarta und FUNNY ist Pharmazie Dozentin an der Universität Malang.
