These captured in May on Victoria Day, and we will have more celebratory fireworks tonight - I surely hope to photograph them again, and again, and again :-)

On the way from California to Iceland and Switzerland I transferred at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The self-driving train that connects the terminals runs below ground. Perfect for a motion blur shot.

CR500422-25. IBIS is the great thing with R5. Four straight handhold images @ 85 mm, ISO 100 and 1/80 s in a snow storm - and tack sharp.
Third attempt of the Capital wheel. Took this one a adjacent pier next to the Ferris wheel. With the absence of the sun, I was trying to capture more of the vibrant colors from the wheel and various colors on the water.

Is it a photo booth or a portal to another dimension? Seriously though... I was originally drawn to this scene because of the colors and heavy shadows. I also liked the motion of the curtain at the entrance and it's random placement in a place I wouldn't have expected to see it. I enjoy experimenting and this is just another one of those experiments.
Monument, build on a mine dump to remember decades of coal mining and steelworking in this region of Germany. The sculpture is called "Saarpolygon". It's a popular destination on weekends for walkers.

A scaffolding in the Dutch city The Hague was the starting point for this composition. Even at the moment when I took the original photo I thought of constructing this castle of openness. I like to see it as a metaphore for freedom and creativity.
Captured in the farm fields of Mae Pam, a favourite spot of mine whenever I'm in Thailand's Chiang Mai area during the cooler months. This place is almost assured of early morning mist due to the nearby mountains blocking the direct sun until around 8 am creating this wonderful rising mist moment.

Well, I feel sometimes lost in the multitude when looking at all these little lights. So many people, so many destinies in this gigantic city. And still feeling like living in a village. Can you find me in the photo
