A high-rise building in Los Angeles, California. It's located across the street from the Petersen Automotive Museum at the intersection of Fairfax Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard. It's a great landmark to use when driving to the Petersen (although it's really tough to miss the Petersen).

This retired fishing trawler is stranded at the headwaters of the St. Lawrence River in Cape Vincent, NY. It has become something of a local landmark, the inspiration for murals and greeting cards, and some people are trying to figure out how to preserve it.
A bright, cloudless August morning in Kansas City pops the colors of the Great Lawn of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, including the famed 20' tall shuttlecocks of husband-and-wife artist team, Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen (1994).
