This was scanned with vuescan at first, then tuned the saturation and contrast on photoshop

Have scanned a couple of rolls of these, but still have problems with xpro film, how to handle it in the scanning software, whether to process it in post software (photoshop, aperture)

rather shiny-and-newish looking vauxhall viva HA, by the looks of things could be miramar, early 60's. damn that kodachrome can be hard to scan. perhaps I had it round the wrong way...

I purchased a load of transparencies from a secondhand dealers. am working through some of the scanning... plenty of NZ in the 1960's, golf, trips... sad to think the lady who took them isn't connected to them any longer.

I remember, that in the early eighties, the road here was blocked and fortified heaviliy. We stood at the end of the village called Eckertal, and we looked over the concrete wall, and saw the rooftops of the adjacent village of Stapelburg. I wondered about the dividing of a country, not even thinking, I'd be able to stand here one day...

A quick trip to Žitnica mountain lodge on Japetić Hill, near my grandparents' house. I decided I don't have the time and the stamina for a hike up the hill, so I went there by car. Next time I will walk, it's no fun driving up the mountain. Apparently, it was quite a busy day at the mountain lodge. Early October 2017.

Taken with Pentax SFXn camera and smc Pentax‍-‍FA 28mm F2.8 AL lens, on Agfa APX400 black & white film. 28mm, 1/500 exposure, f/19, ISO 400 - I took notes.

On Friday, May 2nd 2014 the Impossible Project had it's Open-Day in the Factory in Enschede. My brother and i decided to attend.

Trainride from Hamburg was a bit long and only getting in for the 10am Tour meant i had to get up at around 2am :)

It was quite amazing to see where those films in my fridge come from and what is involved in making them. Seeing the drums of developerpaste kept reminding me of the Roger Rabbit movie ;)

Shot a roll of film while on the tour. Well... i think there are a few Kodak BW400cn pics in the Olympus AF Mini but that's not ready yet to develop.

Anyway... I hope you enjoy the pics although they are not that great and my chems where really on their last run.

In the town of Druskiniaki, Lithuania, a memorial park has been established to remember the horrible crimes of socialism in the country.

The park is named Gr?tas Park but the locals call it "Stalin world".

Its a dark part of their history but its made a bit with tounge in cheek. Propaganda music is played from the watch towers and the staff is dressed in old pioneer clothing.

A very inetersting place to visit if you are in the country.

With their "arms" reaching for the sky in an unnatural pose, large fallen tree stubs have something special to them, I cannot exactly explain it, maybe you will get the feeling I mean, when looking at this shot...

When shooting medium format, I always look for subjects that make it possible to see the "medium format magic". With this I mean an extremely shallow DoF. Using a 50mm F2,8 wide angle (eq. to 26-27mm in the SLR-world), wide open, the unsharp background lets the main subject pop forward.

Castle and Charles Bridge at night in Prague. Shot with the Canon EOS 300x and my favourite lens, the EF 40mm STM. Didn't have a tripod, put the cam on a bridge instead. Used Kodak ColorPlus 200 for the first time after a long while again for this trip as I got it quite cheap. Still like the Fuji colors better. Like always, scanned with a Coolscan IV and Vuescan. Finally used the GIMP for the finish.

As I wrote before, I got "Flexpar"( close up lenses for Flexaret ) from the ebay recently. The set consits of 0.33-0.5m and 0.5m-1.0m lenses.

I shot some photos at the rainy garden with holding my umbrella but it was so hard work !

My flexaret was made in 1950-57.

In addition my Leica IIIf was made in 1950-52.
