Photoshop visualisation of Dulux colour schemes for a residential exterior repaint project. I captured the photograph with my Nikon D3100 DSLR camera and post processed the imagery with Adobe Photoshop CS6. As you can see with the original image there was a lot of tidying up of the house's substrates before new colour schemes could be applied. The paint contractor is a New Zealand Master Painter.
Having found that the ATtiny85 didn't have enough memory to hold my brainwave visualisations code, I put together a little Shrimp circuit to hook up the LED matrix and Bluetooth dongle. Attention data levels is visualised as red LEDs and meditation data levels as green LEDs.

The report was made up of several cards, so that the data can be cross- examined. This is a major problem with reports in a
booklet format. The report also includes a poster, showing all the information in the report cards in a singular data visualisation.
The report cards are layered with different card and die cut to create a tactile aspect, helping the reader absorb the information. The more categories and information on each category, the thicker the report card.

Now a feature in Integrity 3.7.2 - I added colour before releasing the new version (the colour indicates distance from home)
Visualising data can make it seem more real... certainly to the public, so as designers and technologists, we have an obligation not to undermine the credibility of those data.
We agreed that it is good if scientists and developers have a certain level of "design literacy" but they don't need to be experts by any means. We pushed towards the power of multidisciplinary teams (or sometimes just multidisciplinary individuals!)
I mentioned some stuff about dark patterns in design (see the wiki at darkpatterns.org) and the idea of visualisation for hypothesis discovery (thanks @jandot for bringing that to my attention!)
Interestingly, we kept coming back to issues of trust and ethics.

Done by hacking the tilt extension.
Tilt is a firefox extension that visualise html dom using webgl, and allows you to inspect the elements.
So you can inspect any Drupal website (of course depends on the amount of overrides in theme - but there is a Drupal module for developers to make sure it does visualize well). Think of it as a firebug in 3d.

the endangered plants in China are combined with visual acuity tables. The fewer the number of plants more difficult to see
