I think it makes me sound incredibly cosmopolitan, what with my life apparently revolving around a city I haven't been to since I was a baby (NY) and a college I never went to (King's).

Photoshop visualisation of Dulux colour schemes for a residential exterior repaint project. I captured the photograph with my Nikon D3100 DSLR camera and post processed the imagery with Adobe Photoshop CS6. As you can see with the original image there was a lot of tidying up of the house's substrates before new colour schemes could be applied. The paint contractor is a New Zealand Master Painter.
The report was made up of several cards, so that the data can be cross- examined. This is a major problem with reports in a
booklet format. The report also includes a poster, showing all the information in the report cards in a singular data visualisation.
The report cards are layered with different card and die cut to create a tactile aspect, helping the reader absorb the information. The more categories and information on each category, the thicker the report card.
Alistair will give an overview of the techniques and technologies for visualising graph data, and explain where these work well for different types of problem. Graph databases help you to express the connections in your data. Simply by visualising those connections, you have a simple analysis tool, and a compelling user interface.

I’ve been experimenting the with the Neurosky Mindwave mobile EEG headset to send my attention and meditation brainwave data to an Arduino for visualising, by pairing it with a Bluetooth dongle. In this pic I’m showing both my attention and meditation data levels beside each other on an LED matrix.

Screenshot from an interactive applet that visualises around 27000 series from the collection of the National Archives of Australia. The graph is a kind of stacked histogram; each series is represented as a horizontal line correpsonding to its date span. Series are sorted according to span, then stacked into a pile. Colour is also derived from year span - blue=long, red=short. The interactive simply highlights series whose span includes any given year. Blogged here.
The largest component of a rather different kind of a "political" map that i put together using data from relevant Greek Wikipedia articles.
This part of the map depicts about 200 years of political history...unfortunately, mostly frought with troubles.
Every node is (or was at some point in history) a political party in Greece, while every link indicates that people (either the leader or other members) differentiated themselves from the original party (for whatever reason) and created a new entity.
