I wondered where she was going – what was her story? It does not matter that I never found out. This anonymous traveller made me think. A journey begins where the horizon meets the unknown. You carry only what you need and a world of possibilities in your mind.

“Anonymous” is a photography series that captures moments when faces are naturally out of sight. By focusing on gestures, posture, and body language, the series invites viewers to connect with the subjects on a deeper level. It explores themes of curiosity, identity, and shared human experience, reminding us that despite different life chapters, we share universal stories. The lack of visible faces encourages viewers to project their own experiences onto the images, revealing that identity can be just as powerfully expressed through what remains unseen.

Street photography moment captured through glass. A candid portrait of a man reading in silence, framed by layered reflections of the city outside. The window becomes a boundary between interior and exterior, solitude and movement, observer and observed.

Black and white street photography focused on real life, quiet emotion, natural light, and unposed storytelling.

Here’s how the commuters spend their time while heading to work. How do you spend yours?

You are passing the street cemetery in the evening and take advantage of the company of a stranger and tell him: I am afraid of passing by here at night, and he responds: I also felt this when I was alive.

Taken for Active Assignment Weekly - Take Flight

She was sitting resting on the bench. Her scarf and dress were singing blue notes in harmony with the bench's stripes. She agreed to pose for a portrait – such a lovely kind lady.

When I see a scene like this I have a physical reaction and my heart beats a little faster. It's joyful to discover such visual poetry.

Ordinary days

“Trough exploring many of the infinite home nooks and crannies of existing repertoire over past several years, the author has found and continues to evolve a kind of music code-a definitive way of doing things not unlike that encouraged others. This place may have been inspired, in part, by less-than-ideal world circumstances, but it’s nevertheless a largely joyous record that suggests that these turbulent times need not define us, nor should they in particular, of the new millennium be seen as a definitive future.” - John Kelman

"Here I am, lost in the light of the moon that comes through my window

Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses

It's you and the roses

Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow

Heal me from all this sorrow

As I let you go I will find my way when I see your eyes

Now I'm living in your afterglow

Here I am, lost in the ashes of time, but who wants tomorrow?

In between the longing to hold you again

I'm caught in your shadow, I'm losing control

My mind drifts away, we only have today

When the faith has gone as I let you go, as I let you go

Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow

Heal me from all this sorrow

As I let you go I will find my way, I will sacrifice

Now I'm living in your afterglow

Bathed in blue, the walls of my memory divide the thorns from the roses

It's you who is closest "

- INXS lyrics.

Must watch video to set the tone

I walked these stairs nearly ten years ago,

and today, the same colors found me again.

Grateful for the window that remembers...

captured at a cheese shop in viktualienmarkt, this photograph beautifully juxtaposes the rush of modern life with the timeless allure of artisanal goods. a man hurries up a staircase, his reflection merging with the display of golden cheese wheels in the shop window. his obliviousness to the charming scene underscores the contrast between the fleeting nature of our daily routines and the enduring beauty that often goes unnoticed.

On a whim, I "splurged" and purchased an Amaryllis belladonna bulb which was just beginning to sprout, at Trader Joe's on December 23, 2023. I was totally unsure whether it would really flower, as I had never had one before. My husband and I were amazed and delighted by the entire growth process, the beauty of every part of the plant, and the delicate scent of the flowers! I decided to do a macro study, which began on the day of purchase and has continued through today, February 1, 2024. It bloomed not once, but twice and still has one last perfect flower, which will fade within a few more days, as have the other three of the four-blossom "crown." The $9.99 (US dollars) that was spent, turned out to pay dividends!

They were soaking up the magic of autumn, snapping photos and laughing together, when they agreed to strike a quick pose for a portrait. With smiles all around, I captured the moment. And in the blink of an eye—thanks to the marvel of smartphone tech—I sent the photo straight to one of their phones via Airdrop. Instant autumn memories, delivered on the spot!

Forgotten glasses is first one from the plot of a film that was never filmed. I was looking for scenes for the screenplay almost one year.

It was lovely to watch the fluidity of movement in this couple dancing on the promenade.

A moment suspended between softness and mystery — framed by branches, shaped by light.

"Ognuno di noi è seguito da un'ombra, e meno questa è incorporata nella vita conscia dell'individuo, tanto più è nera e densa"

Caught between shadow and sunlight — where stillness meets motion. Every step carries a story.

For this photo in my notes I have written:

According to question by Don Heckman, why is it that most of the music that hits the Contemporary Jazz charts seems best suited as background sound for a drive up the coast to Big Sur? We do not agree completely. All the way to Dojran Lake, too. We were listening Pat Metheny Group with two albums, We Live Here and Letter From Home. What a perfect day it was.

a single leg stretches out from the photo booth, wrapped in dark denim, the sneaker planted firm on the speckled floor. it feels like a pause, a moment of stillness in the hum of the station. trains rattle, conversations hum in the distance, and the fluorescent lights trace endless lines into the shadows. the sign above reads "salida fotos," the promise of memories printed and sealed, even as life moves past the glass. this is the city—where moments freeze in unexpected frames, while everything else keeps moving.

"I finally get to go out!"

"I'm going to get in so much trouble!"

"What do you mean, I'm wearing it wrong?"

"I thought it goes on your face"

A moment of calm strength and elegance.

Natural light, soft colors and a quiet presence — sometimes it’s not about posing, but about simply being.

This portrait was taken during an outdoor session, capturing a relaxed yet powerful mood, where confidence comes naturally and without effort.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a moment to look.

Your thoughts and impressions are always welcome.

📍Al Fahidi, Dubai

A young woman poses cheerfully in a studio setting, showcasing a casual yet stylish outfit. She wears a black ribbed crop tank top and light blue denim jeans with an open waist design. The natural studio lighting highlights her bright smile and the textures of the clothing. This portrait captures a moment of laid-back fashion and a happy, confident mood.

"There is no harm in repeating a good thing." (Plato)

"In cities of course, you lock doors, windows, rooftops, businesses, and vehicles tight" the owner wryly suggested while I externally photographed his workshop/garage.

"It's generally the case in rural-ville we all know each other, and lending or borrowing equipment to the neighbour is a given. So we leave everything unlocked, houses and vehicles."

I felt a bit uneasy with a comical grin, realizing I'd just locked my Jeep 50 ft from the property. We're inundated with electronic gadgetry (cameras gear, tablets, computers, iPods etc) that unsavoury roving eyes would enjoy owning back in the city shopping centre parking lot.

"Would it be problematic if I snooped inside this characterful museum".

"Have at er' son, wait till you see what's stored in the attic".

amidst the narrow streets of palma de mallorca, a woman in a vibrant red dress walks past a wall adorned with colorful graffiti. the striking green apple, painted with bold strokes, stands out against the weathered texture of the wall, creating a vivid contrast. this scene captures the dynamic interplay between human movement and urban art, a testament to the city's vibrant culture and artistic expression.

Partially veiled, quietly present. A fleeting look through branches, where shadows soften edges and black-and-white reveals what words cannot.

From Wikipedia: "Yamanba (ヤマンバ, Yamanba?) sometimes written as "yamamba", is a fashion trend among young Japanese women. Starting with the bleached white hair and heavy tan of the ganguro girl, the yamanba adds white lipstick, white eye makeup, and sometimes brightly colored contacts, plastic clothing, and inappropriate accessories. Some yamanba wear stuffed animals as decorations, talk with a slurred speech, and enjoy shiny neon or dayglo colors."

It was 2nd of August when wondering trough the empty alleys of the Old Bazar that morning, I noticed on a facade several paint brushes in different colours. That’s how my multimedia exhibition 7/24 started. The idea was to represent my emotions trough different colour on similar objects. Wondering during one week I was opening different colour of doors. What colour are you? We are the world.

Was it an accident or intentional? Will we ever know?

It's a humorous picture. I borrowed the golf club because golf isn't one of my favorite sports.
