...the house shelters day-dreaming,
the house protects the dreamer,
the house allows one to dream in peace.

Black and white photograph characterized by strong backlighting and a meticulous control of the tonal range. The bare trees along the riverbank emerge as sharp, well-defined silhouettes, while the backlit mist creates a soft, gradual sense of depth. The mirrored reflection on the water doubles the intricate structure of the branches, generating a natural symmetry that gives the composition stability and visual weight.
The surface of the river shows slight ripples that gently break the reflection, adding micro-textures and subtle variations. From a tonal standpoint, the image makes use of almost the entire histogram scale: it starts around 8 and reaches approximately 235, without skipping any intermediate values. This wide and continuous distribution provides a rich rendering of tones, with smooth transitions and an overall refined, controlled result.
And in this suspended quiet, where the light touches the water and the branches reflect like deep thoughts, the river truly feels as if it is breathing—a slow, ancient breath that reaches you and reminds you that within that silence, you are never alone.
time sort of stands still on the Orkney isles and one can still see these lovely old electricity posts

Not a message, not a goodbye — just a movement that lingers, like a hush that chooses to stay.

She’s there, and already gone.
The city carries her like a current,
faces dissolve into lines of motion,
stories blur before they can be told.
In the rhythm of steel and glass,
we are all just echoes,
passing through.
__________
This shot radiates that fleeting, dreamlike quality where time itself seems stretched thin.
She doesn’t perform the smile.
It simply appears — called forth by warm air, soft light, and a quiet day that asked for nothing but presence.
This work is dedicated to goddess of love — Lelya.

A silent stage play without actors,
and yet filled with tiny characters.
Every object knows its role
quiet, but somehow meaningful.
Nothing moves,
and still, an entire story seems to breathe
between the spaces.
And me?
I am allowed only to watch…
and smile.

This was taken months ago! It is taken with a Instax Mini and using a crystal to get the multiples. I think I like using things to alter the image of instant film, because the Instax Mini makes the colors way too perfect, and I really don't like using natural colors or making it look real to life.
In a garden of quiet wonders,
a well sings in liquid light.
Whoever drinks from its secret waters
no longer sees with mortal eyes,
he sees with the open gaze of the heart.
Dreams glide softly into waking life,
and every face glimmers with unveiled truth,
and Its waters soothe the longing
for the endless sky within.
⁛ In stillness deep as water, the heart learns to see.
