A magical light cast patterns of shadows... and a memory is all that's left...

A towering tree,

cut down by bad weather years ago.

Yet it still confirms its greatness,

dominating the scene.

The fog wraps around it,

as if it never wanted to let it go.

Time wounds,

but it does not always take away dignity.

Figures blur into shadow and drizzle,

umbrellas bloom like fragile shields.

urban melancholy caught between steel, rain, and silence.

beneath the heavy folds of crimson fabric, the light filters in like a muted fire. it burns against the wall, painting it in soft, fleeting hues, while the shadows linger below, stretching across the desk. the camera rests in the dark, quiet and forgotten, waiting for its moment to capture the world outside this glowing barrier. there’s a stillness here—a kind of pause between the closing of curtains and the opening of stories untold. the air feels dense with warmth, the kind that speaks of solitude and secrets. it’s not just a curtain; it’s a threshold, holding back the world as the light leaks through.

Cooch Behar Rajbari stands like a royal dream beneath the Bengal sky — where crimson walls, ivory arches, and silent gardens still echo the elegance of a forgotten era. In its timeless corridors, history and romance continue to walk hand in hand.

ENG In a play of light and shadow, Emeralda appears and dissolves at once. The smoke becomes an extension of her soul—shifting, untamed, almost unreal. Each swirl blurs reality, leaving behind a raw emotion suspended between presence and absence.

An image not only seen… but felt.

Aarhus, Denmark – March 2025.

Cape Sounion, the southernmost tip of Attica, is a significant strategic point, whence the city-state of Athens controlled the sea passage to the Aegean Sea and Piraeus, the central port, as well as the Lavrion peninsula, comprising the rich silver mines thanks to which Athens emerged as a leading power in the 5th century BC.

I love you as certain dark things are to be loved, in secret, between the shadow and the soul.

and the love lasted a lifetime.

Street corner on a rainy day in Cracow, Poland.

I took this shot because there’s something profoundly serene about the simplicity of it. A couple, walking hand in hand on a vast beach, their figures almost swallowed by the expansive space between earth and sky. The composition is minimalist, with the horizon line dividing the image into two tranquil halves — the soft texture of the sand leading the eye to the distant couple. What makes this a great shot is how it evokes the feeling of timelessness, of a quiet moment shared between two people amidst the vastness of nature. The subtle tonality of black and white amplifies this sense of solitude and connection, turning an ordinary walk into an emotional journey.

Sweet Darkness

You must learn one thing.

The world was made to be free in.

Give up all the other worlds except

the one to which you belong.

Sometimes it takes darkness and the

sweet confinement of your aloneness

to learn

anything or anyone

that does not bring you alive

is too small for you.
