Cuando las puertas del infierno y del cielo se confunden, o cambian de significado....
When the gates of hell and heaven becomes confused, or change their meaning....
ENG In a play of light and shadow, Emeralda appears and dissolves at once. The smoke becomes an extension of her soul—shifting, untamed, almost unreal. Each swirl blurs reality, leaving behind a raw emotion suspended between presence and absence.
An image not only seen… but felt.

Cape Sounion, the southernmost tip of Attica, is a significant strategic point, whence the city-state of Athens controlled the sea passage to the Aegean Sea and Piraeus, the central port, as well as the Lavrion peninsula, comprising the rich silver mines thanks to which Athens emerged as a leading power in the 5th century BC.
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved, in secret, between the shadow and the soul.

A conceptual winter landscape that explores the profound paradoxes of nature and human emotion. A solitary tree stands resiliently in the freezing waters—seemingly lifeless and frozen, yet fundamentally alive. Tangled in its bare branches is the blue tail of a lost kite. At first glance, it represents a loss of freedom, a playful object trapped by the harsh winter. However, as the fabric continues to wave and dance relentlessly in the bitter wind, it transforms into a powerful metaphor for enduring hope.
The deliberate framing captures this duality: the stillness of the freezing water against the dynamic motion of the kite's tail. It is a visual poem about the resilience of the spirit, showing that even when freedom feels frozen, hope still flutters in the wind.

Roller skates on her feet,
smiles in the air,
love floats between menus
and neon lights.
A fleeting glance, a gentle touch
and the love lasted a lifetime.
⁛ Even fleeting glances leave traces in the heart.

I took this shot because there’s something profoundly serene about the simplicity of it. A couple, walking hand in hand on a vast beach, their figures almost swallowed by the expansive space between earth and sky. The composition is minimalist, with the horizon line dividing the image into two tranquil halves — the soft texture of the sand leading the eye to the distant couple. What makes this a great shot is how it evokes the feeling of timelessness, of a quiet moment shared between two people amidst the vastness of nature. The subtle tonality of black and white amplifies this sense of solitude and connection, turning an ordinary walk into an emotional journey.
Sweet Darkness
You must learn one thing.
The world was made to be free in.
Give up all the other worlds except
the one to which you belong.
Sometimes it takes darkness and the
sweet confinement of your aloneness
to learn
anything or anyone
that does not bring you alive
is too small for you.

Un sueño dentro de otro sueño, el sueño es lo real, la vida un espiral, el eje es un espejo.
This is part of my Wanderer series. I decided to edit differently from the beginning. Before I edited the pictures for my class and our focus was editing only in ACR, but I think that if I contribute to this series, I should edit it differently for the project than from school.
This series is about someone who has wandered off from her current life, trying to find another, better life. During her journey she becomes exhausted, stumbles into different paths, but still continues.

“It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head.” – Henri Cartier-Bresson
This image reminds me of Joseph Mallord William Turner. Night shot, long exposure, ICM with moving subject.
the guitars floated. she didn’t notice them. she passed like a note that escaped the music. no one was playing.
When the world weighs you down,
for the days your wings feel heavy,
may you remember you were born knowing
how to rise again.
