Nel silenzio dello stagno, l'Ibis scarlatto si piega sull'acqua, riflettendo la sua fiamma vivente. Un attimo di caccia, un frammento di poesia naturale.

At the still point of the turning world.

Neither flesh nor fleshless;

neither from nor towards;

at the still point, there the dance is.

At Raabjerg Mile area (a huge area of sand drift) south-west of the town.

In this quiet moment, nature extends a silent invitation — to step closer, to pause, to listen. Trees speak not with words, but through presence, rustling leaves, and filtered light. This image captures that gentle call into stillness and calm.

too small for the space.

too large to ignore.

this image doesn’t measure meters — it measures meaning.

it’s not the wall that remembers.

it’s the ones who walk through it.

caught between mirrors and light, she stands — motionless, or maybe just slow enough for the world to forget her pace. the tunnel curves, the ceiling breathes in circles, and her reflection lingers like a quieter version of herself. in this in-between place, time folds softly.

Sometimes it isn’t smooth sailing…

And so does photography...

Every station has its ghosts, waiting for a train that never comes.

she stepped into the light as if pulled by time itself—caught between the stillness of shadow and the shimmer of the unknown. in this fleeting silhouette, there’s a grace in uncertainty and the calm weight of movement. sometimes it’s not about where you’re going, but how you pass through.

Østre Plantage on a somewhat rainy Sunday morning - Holstebro, Denmark - November 07, 2021.

the driver points.

the horse moves.

the sun cuts through the moment like a line drawn on stone.

this isn’t nostalgia.

it’s present tense – with shadows stretched and time paused.

he passed through a world of windows. some showed things. some hid them. he didnât pause. but the glass remembered him for just a second longer.

Un pissenlit presque défait, suspendu entre présence et disparition.

Østre Plantage on a somewhat rainy Sunday morning - Holstebro, Denmark - November 07, 2021.

a solitary figure framed in steel and shadow, caught in the moment before motion. the terminal becomes a temple â light filtering down like thought, reflection doubling space, and the world beyond waiting with quiet engines. the symmetry breathes tension. the silence holds its breath.

In this photo we managed to create a "Photo 3D" sense of space effect.

However, this is a unique, almost "magical" place where fantastic lighting conditions are regularly created.

Thank you Michael Figdor for bringing my attention to this beautiful link, which originated this work! For those who watch the link, I highly recommend watching the whole video. And a big thank you to Hugh Grant for your foresight.

Long exposure transforms the shoreline into a place of calm suspension. Stones soften, waves lose their edges, and the sky stretches quietly across the frame. In this moment, the sea is no longer restless — it becomes a surface for reflection, where time moves slower than the tide.

Fun fact: Extended exposures in low light often reveal movement we can’t perceive in real time, turning waves into mist and clouds into subtle gradients rather than shapes.
