Sometimes the sky carries the weight of what we cannot say.

In silence, the clouds gather — heavy, wild, and full of stories.

I stood beneath them, not afraid… just listening.

It didn’t bloom; it sang.

This silhouetted flower stands like a note on a staff, framed by the fading warmth of a sky painted in soft orange and pink. Each petal, each leaf, a stanza. Each curve, a quiet chord. The light behind it hums with feeling, as if the sun itself is composing a farewell.

There’s no wind, no movement just the stillness of a song held in the air. A melody not heard, but felt. The kind that plays in memory, in longing, in the spaces between words.

This image is a visual sonnet gentle, expressive, and full of quiet harmony. It’s for those who see music in light, rhythm in shadow, and poetry in the way a flower leans toward the sky.

Sunny and somewhat foggy/misty winter morning walk around the village where I live - Vejrumstad, Denmark - January 26, 2019.

Eddies spiral, pulling whispers from stone, white noise rising in endless refrain. Water tumbles, a rhythm unknown, soft yet insistent, dissolving terrain.

Leaves, slick with rhythmic rain, rustle like echoes lost in the mist. A chorus of motion, fluid, untamed, a silent song too deep to resist.

Carved by time, held by sound, bound to the gorge, yet never bound. An endless pulse, unbroken, unchanged.
