The Siang passes by Aalo (formerly Along), the one surprisingly big-ish town on the way.

We spent the night here on our way to Menchukha.

Between December 16, 2012 and January 3, 2013, I met some of the most beautiful people in the Philippines. This series documents their stories. The title "Bukas Na Kami" is a play on words in the Pilipino language. It could either mean "We are open" or "Tomorrow it's us." I'll let the viewers decide which translation they like.

Message me if you are interested in the book. Thanks.

“I am a dreamer. I know so little of real life that I just can’t help re-living such moments as these in my dreams, for such moments are something I have very rarely experienced." - Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Fabian: I'm shopping for a jewelry for my wife.

Juzno: What does your wife want?

Fabian: She wants Pearls but I would rather give her a washing machine.

Juzno: A washing machine doesn't seem romantic.

Fabian: Why not? If she gives me a tool set I could use I think that would be romantic.

Growing in a tiny little pocket park, alongside a bus stop and the Landwehr Canal. On this exact spot there was once a Watch Tower overlooking The Wall. This is also one of the locations for Der Himmel über Berlin, the 1987 film masterpiece ( well I enjoyed it ) by Wim Wenders.

These portraits of plants, have been made for many different reasons but always for the JOY of it. All of my photographs are daytime, made in city parks and gardens and virtually straight out of the camera with the absolute minimum of post processing.

This on going photographic odyssey that I call TERRA INCOGNITA has helped me notice what is always present in my life
