children, who have only just come into this physical world, still carry with them a spiritual knowing and with that they really and truly ~SEE~ ... it is through the "growing up" that so much of that magical vision is pushed aside and / or ignored / supressed ...
There are however blessed numbers who make the decision to re-embrace this gift again later in life.

Here in Nor Cal 2013 was the driest rainy season on record and talk of drought and water rationing has been big in the news. Yesterday was the first big storm in over a year. Lots of rain and wind. The "pineapple express" is just what we needed.
En la sierra que lleva su nombre habitan los tarahumaras, o rarámuris “los hombres de los pies alados", como ellos se llaman a sà mismos.
La mujer rarámuri usa ropa de algodón con dibujos de florecitas, las mujeres fabrican su ropa a mano, las faldas son largas y anchas, usan varias faldas a la vez, una encima de otra, tal vez para no tener frÃo. Los hombres usan un taparrabo hecho de manta y una camisa floja. Usan huaraches de llanta y con tres agujeros y correas que sirven para amarrar los huaraches al pié.
Ubicado en la parte alta de la sierra en Munérachi, en el Municipio de Batopilas.
