Stranger #21 www.100Strangers.com
While I was at the party for the nursing home down the street, I noticed a young woman looking thoughtfully into the distance. I took a picture of her from behind and then approached her to ask for permission to take a picture for the 100Strangers group. She was reluctant, and I had to coax her. She was visiting a relative—father or grandfather.

At Bedfordshire Police our aim is "fighting crime, protecting the public."
The four strands of this are protection, satisfaction, reassurance and efficiency. Bedfordshire Police tries to provide satisfaction by agreeing the service it will provide, then delivering on these promises. An example of this is Operation Vision.
Operation Vision is the Force’s over-arching campaign to boost public safety, satisfaction and confidence in Bedfordshire Police by tackling crime and anti-social behaviour.
It is different to anything the Force has done before, and includes regular “high impact days” with office staff and officers working side by side on duties including front-line policing.
Typical tasks include “saturation patrols” on estates, house to house consultations to explore public concerns, distributing literature, property marking and helping in mobile police stations.
This operation was launched in 2010 and has continued throughout Bedfordshire since then. Since the introduction of the new policing model, Operation Vision has become a more localised initiative, but is still an integral part of local policing.
We cover 477 square miles, serve a population of around 550,000 and employ in the region of 1,260 Police Officers, 950 police staff and 120 Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs). For more details about the force, visit our website www.bedfordshire.police.uk
I take both this pictures in Warsaw at the end of winter / beginning of spring 2006. As my country is deep gray almost half of the year orange glasses help to find some light and color in the world. Wise decision. If I will ever fund the Church of Sun I will recommend those to all the northern followers.

What a surprise when I encountered an American Mink (Neogale vision), with Marsh Rice Rat Oryzomys palustris), scampering across The Landing’s Marina parking lot. The lighting was poor, and my camera lay on the seat of my moving golf cart. I grabbed the camera, switched it on, and fired off a round before its disappearance into the weedy edge of the marsh. It was my first ever encounter of a Mink with Rat!
I saw this vision when I was half asleep or asleep. It is a reference to a painting that I did earlier about a woman in an oppressed position. To see that painting go to: flickr.com/photos/21702692@N05/2169157477/
The girl was originally nude but when my grandmother saw it and, in my opinion , got too giddy, I put a dress on her.

While waiting for my Waffle House breakfast, I kept staring at this digital jukebox until I had to go to the truck and grab the camera. No one said anything, but I'm sure the other patrons thought me a bit odd...*+^
Happy Hump Day!!!
