I can scan barcodes with my eyes. I dont even need to go through checkout at the grocery store anymore. Blackmarket body parts FTW!
Her hair just flows in this image, so wonderful. I love the clarity of her gaze in this image. No doubt, she is looking at you. You can see more of her moods and expressions in my set "DJ". The colors here will just pop in lightbox.
Honestly thought I'd shared this photo ages ago! It's one of my favorites from this flight... the lake is practically hanging in the sky. This is the northern border of Yosemite National Park beyond lies the Hoover Wilderness and Great Basin country up to Mount Patterson, 25 miles away.
It is said that these seagulls in spotted in Alaska migrate all the way from Baja peninsula of Mexico during summer. Wonder what vision and persisted efforts can do to a reach a goal.

Assignment: PCA54 – Eyes and/or hands
WIT:
While I had many ideas for this assignment, after much contemplation, I went with this one because of its personal nature. Thanks to advances in optometry and new technologies, I am able to participate in this group. With the camera less than two feet away from the clock and the glasses only a few inches from the camera's lens, this gives a pretty close interpretation of what my vision is like without the correction.
I set this up by taping blankets and towels over the windows in the kitchen to reduce the glare and the reflections on the clock. Draped a blanket behind everything to eliminate the distracting background and set my camera to Aperture Priority. After several missed focus shots (using an old pair of glasses) went with a smaller aperture to get the focus correct through the lenses.
Thank you as always for your critiques.
