Photography to me is an art in the medium of expression and communication. The recording of an image that offered endless meaning in perception, interpretation and imagination.
What we are seeing through the light should not be limited or judged base on the levels of photographic gears or expertise, but all come down to one word: VISION.

The Riviera Housing Estate, Atyrau, Republic of Kazakhstan.
Located in the same district as our housing, the Riviera Complex holds many stories, apparently connected with corruption, bankruptcy and extortion - and that's just the start.
The website shows a vision of grandeur, as do the promotional posters which are now gradually falling from the perimeter fence.
Construction started in 2006, and was due to be completed in 2008. Now 7 years after initiation, not even the first block has been finished.
A guard dog still barks enthusiastically when you get too close to the entrance, and sometimes workmen or guards can be spotted behind the wire mesh gate.
Rumours have abounded for a while that construction will 'start again' soon. However, for the last 12 months there has been no tangible progress, and the glossy images of a tree lined parade flanked by cafés seem further from reality than ever.

This picture is about how a shaman heals people by transforming his head into the head of an animal. The secret of this practice is that the maestro learns to think like the animal and share its instincts. If he is a giant armadillo for example, as seen at the top, which has armoured scales to shield it from harm, a shaman can perform soplos with the power of this animal to enable a person to fall from a high tree without injury. To do this the shaman must chant its icaro and experience the animal’s hypnotism, concentration and instinct.
