A familiar view, but taken from a slightly different angle than usual.
Can't actually remember exactly where I was for this shot but it was nice to get the bright red rib motoring past to give a little interest to the otherwise rather dull Thames!
View of the Safari Park via the tram.
In beautiful Escondido CA., San Diego Zoo Safari Park
SD Zoo Global - SD Zoo - SDZ Safari Park are nonprofit.
What a great organization to donate to, and help support conservation of animals and plant life.
San Diego's mild Mediterranean climate makes it possible to grow more different kinds of plants than almost anywhere else in the United States. With more than a million plants on a total of 1,900 acres at the Zoo and the Safari Park, their grounds make up a truly world-class botanical garden and they have been recognized as such. Next visit look beyond the animals to the world they live in and appreciate this botanical treasure.
Hope you enjoy!

More than two decades ago I was in Berea watching trains when an eastbound CSX manifest freight stopped to wait on traffic ahead. The locomotive engineer invited me to come up to the cab to get some photographs. The view is looking east on the engineer's side. (Scanned from color negative film)
view from the road below my house, looking west -- the weather is nearly identical this morning, wisps of fog down in the valley but otherwise clear clear clear

There must have been months of debate on what to name this hotel until they finally came up with, The Majestic View Lodge.
This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and SMC PENTAX 67 1:4 45 lens with a Zenza Bronica 82mm L 1A filter using Fuji 160NS film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
View towards some of the northernmost points of the Faroe Islands. (The birds is a puffin, they were flying around me.)

Thank you everyone for the views! I'm also grateful to Flickr for such a broad democratic platform for contributors from all walks of life. It's been a very enjoyable and fulfilling 5 years of active contribution and viewing of others' fine photographic works.
A big Thank You to all my followers and friends here on Flickr!
Pete, eat your heart out! ;-)
This is the view from my living/dining area. We've had some odd weather lately and hopefully it's clearing up.
I keep having deja vu moments- today it was driving behind my old car (we sold it to V's coworker last year). T's baby clothes that were passed along to friends are coming back to C via other friends. That kind of thing. It's good to be back.
The formation on the left is Zion's Great White Throne. At 6744', it towers over Zion Canyon, and is perhaps the most easily identifiable landmark in Zion National Park.
Not from this angle, however. This is a view from the Kayenta Trail, which I don't believe I had previously hiked. The far more common view is from a pullout off the tram road a mile or so north of here, where you can get a straight-on view of the Great White Throne's face. Didn't stop there on this trip, however.
A view under the Fore River Bridge from the Weymouth (MA) side to the Twin Rivers Technologies plant across the river in Quincy (the lit building seen in the distance).
Spider Rock (750 feet) in the Canyon de Chelly National Monument as seen from the south rim. This national monument is located within the Navajo Nation and is entirely owned by the Navajo Tribal Trust. Currently about 40 Navajo families live within the park. To visit the bottom of the canyon requires being accompanied by a Park Ranger or a Navajo approved guide.
Here is the view from my hotel room. The trees are nice but what the heck is that ugly dumpster doing there. Oh well, life is not perfect.
Not sure where we were but the views behind us were amazing...! Will upload some sea view pictures next.
A group sit and contemplate the sea view in Ostend, Belgium. Often when sitting on these benches people will strike up a friendly conversation.
