Liverpool, 3rd January 2020.
Olympus OM10 and Ilford XP2 film.
It was very busy down this street and I had to wait ages until there were fewer people in my shots. Whilst I waited, I took this photo of a different view of the street.
Yesterday I passed 1 million views on my Flickr account! I'd like to thank everyone who's commented and given feedback on my stuff and everyone who's blogged me over the past 4 years I've been on Flickr. It's great to be part of such an vibrant community.
I always wanted to build the Vickers Valiant and other larger planes but since I currently have a very limited storage room for LEGO, it was impossible to build those planes.
However, I saw some of the models of my friend Dornbi (Peter Dornbach), I got inspired and I decided to make an experiment and build a mini-scale Vickers Valiant.
The model features a large internal bomb bay and a large nuclear bomb inside.
This is the first mini-scale plane that I make in a while so I´m still learning how to make them.

A wonderful treat despite leaving the beach capital of the Philippines. At least these views made it easier to bid adieu.
A bit foggy because of the old plane window.
the views encompass many miles of the Green and Colorado river canyons, vast areas of red rock cliffs and ravines at either side, and distant mountain ranges on the horizon. Like other nearby viewpoints the scenery, although spectacular at any time, is best near sunset, especially to the east, where a group of spires and thin ridges (Monument Basin) cast long shadows over the surrounding deep red cliffs. Of incidental interest along the trail are several narrow, very deep cracks in the bedrock, which inside create pretty reflected light effects, similar to a slot canyon.
the view from my deck this morning, looking west across the valley toward Sebastopol and the coast range...
in the summer this is mostly obscured by leaves, but winter brings bare branches and better views! i even got my old DSLR out of retirement to snap it... (as i seem to be out of film for my Hassy -- more ordered!)
This is a wintertime view from the local fishing pier in Santos, Brazil.
Vista do pier.
Esta é uma vista de inverno a partir do pier de pesca local em Santos, Brasil.
The view of Bridalvieil Falls from inside of Yosemite's south entrance tunnel in Yosemite National Park, California. Taken on April 24th, 2011. A three shot HDR shot using Oloneo's Photoengine.
The red light on the rocks in the tunnel is from the tunnel lighting. This was also taken with heavy cloud cover in the valley. Plus I had to watch my back and not get ran over! LOL
These two railroad bridges cross the river in Columbus ... love the feeling of age. This is the view out of the classroom that I am teaching in now ...
Can't decide which of the two crops that I like ... thoughts?
