Tunnel View is a scenic viewpoint on State Route 41 in Yosemite National Park. Visitors have seen and documented the iconic and expansive views of Yosemite Valley from the overlook since its opening in 1933.
A view that looks through the greenery and nature that surround and represent the Agence Parisienne du Climat.

The view from the Tack Room early one morning as I returned from walking Tasku. This was about 6.40am, the light was lovely, as it was most mornings but then the sun disappeared and it got very windy and cold.

Tunnel View for sunset was the place to be on fall evening. You have no idea how long I’ve wanted this shot of Tunnel View in Yosemite with a sky like this. I've always enjoyed seeing other photos from here with an incredible sky but every time I'm attempted to shoot here the sunset would never materialize. This time the odds were different as I was watching the clouds all day. I drove up to Tunnel View and waiting for sunset. To my delight, the sky exploded in color lighting up the infamous Yosemite Valley. No wonder Tunnel View is the most popular sunset spot in all of Yosemite National Park with landscape photographers.
As seen from George's Quay, looking north. Dublin, Ireland.

Keswicks, surprise view, just up past Ashness Bridge, not the greatest as hand held (fingers were numb with the wind chill) back in a week or so will take more time getting this shot right
Another view on the hike back down White Face Mt. via the summer road...We really lucked out on views on the way down!!! Enjoy your Sunday!!!
We found a small bay called Low Newton-by-the-sea which leads onto the much more photographed Embleton bay where we had been previously.
At Embleton bay you can walk along to Dunstanburgh Castle which affords you great views of the castle from what are commonly know amongst photographers as the death rocks, ankle breakers, however more from that spot in another post.
At low Newton- by- the sea it`s a lovely long walk along the beach beside Maram grass filled sand dunes all the time with Dunstanburgh castle in your sights for many different compositions, We were lucky with the weather which gave us a great sky just before the rains came.
Another lovely view, from the walk up St John's Hill. Aren't those gardens fabulous? I'd love a long garden!

Stunning scenery in Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungles) in The Kimberley.
I loved this viewpoint framing the distant castle like structure of the Bungles Ranges that rise abruptly from the surrounding plains. The pre sunrise glow also helps!
Apologies for the lack of presence here on Flickr lately. I have been very busy working on a major revamp to my website - plenty of work still to go however I look forward to sharing it with everyone soon. I also look forward to catching up on everyone's streams shortly!
Have a great week ahead!

Took this the other day on my way for an appointment. I just had to try to capture such a dramatic sky and light. This is a wider view than the one I posted a few days ago.

Saturday Self Challenge - Favourite photo style
This weeks theme or my favourite would be landscape, having the best of both worlds living close to the North East Of England Coast and The North Yorkshire National Parks.
Still struggling with where to hide my "inshot" shadow though !
