This view looking eastwards from an overhead pedestrian crossing on Jalan Ampang (Ampang Road) was captured using the in-camera panorama stitch feature of a Sony Nex 6 camera.
This tree-lined road has increasingly been taken over by office buildings and shopping malls. One hold-out is the Dharma Realm Guan Yin Monastery, a Chinese Buddhist Monastery and Temple; it is just left of centre here.

(There are some flaws in the camera's panorama stitch, especially noticeable on some of the moving vehicles.)

Despite the somewhat gray weather on the second day of the Frankfurt weekend, we had a great view of the city from the roof of the Main Tower, at a height of 200 metres. To the right, you still can see a part of the skyscrapers that form the skyline of Frankfurt and straight ahead you see the relatively small old part of the city, located on the river Main.

Birg, Switzerland - the middle station of the cable car journey between Mürren and the Schilthorn - captured on our stop before continuing up to Schilthorn, wonderful mountain views on a beautiful day.
Many thanks for your kind visit 🙏
6/52- Week 6 of the project 52 challenge and we have a bit of minimalism inspired by Andy Feltham, a very talented photographer I follow on here who has a unique and captivating way of capturing the usually mundane street furniture and inanimate objects we pass every day with out a second thought.
Andy often captures these scenes at night with a focus on man-made lighting, minimal compositions and a sense of wonder. Inspired by his work, I have started noticing shots while out and about at night and after stopping off at my local supermarket for a nice bottle of something to sit down and edit with after an exploring trip to Wales last weekend, I noticed this scene down the road and with my gear to hand, set about capturing the shot : )
You can see more of Andy's work, including the captivating series 'Incidental View' from the tag in this upload : )

Seoul is one of the biggest metropolises in the world, but there are a few areas in the heart of the city where one doesn't feel that.

HWW! There must be a whole story here. Someone painted the inside of the window to block the view. Someone else has scratched away part of the paint so that he/she can see out. A heavy drape has been pulled aside, so that the "scratch-a-view" can be used.
This is a window of an elegant old home, with a view onto its back garden and the Mulhouse section of the nice navigable canal and lock system which connects the Rhine and Rhone rivers.

It's sometimes surprising what's hiding behind a dreary winter sky. This was taken at the Black Butte Dam overlook. Visibility was limited due to the weather but I was intriqued by the position of the rock facings and the trees and decided it was worth a shot. Backlighting and layering helped bring out the colors in the sky and then I used a texture called pink spotlight from pareeerica www.flickr.com/photos/8078381@N03/ .
