We had a wonderful walk through the forest and as we left the forest we were faced with these fantastic views just outside the village of Natters.

Views across to the City of Jounieh and beyond taken on a humid summer's evening.

Asti - Piemont. The church you see is the San Giovanni Battista. Also mind the watertower at the right side, a more mondane & secular structure. Best take your large monitor for a view.

The main square of Beauvais. I think it was the fifth floor we were on? Certainly more than three floors up. The view from our hotel room.

The square, named Place Jeanne Hachette, contains many shops, the Mairie and a statue of Jeanne Laisné. She goes down in folklore as a courageous woman during the siege of 1472, when the Burgundians were planning to take unfortified Beauvais from King Louis XI, she galvanised the Beauvaisians to defend their city and repel the invaders (which they did) by forcing off a Burgundian soldier from the city perimeter and removing the standard the soldier had planted, all whilst wielding an axe.

In recompense, the King awarded the townsfolk as exempt from taxes for ten years, and Jeanne's family exempt for life.

This is one I took some time ago overlooking Burrator Reservoir and the bridge that spans the Dam below, Burrator is one of the most beautiful places to go for a walk or a bike ride and picnic. Thanks for taking the time to view

My sister Jan and I decided at the last minute to visit London hoping for a striking perspective.

Looking East from London Bridge taking in the Shard and HMS Belfast on the South Bank to Tower Bridge crossing the river Thames.

I used a Lee Pro Glass 0.6 Neutral Density Filter plus a Lee Pro Glass Enhancer Filter and a Lee Twilight Single Effects Filter.

Thank you in advance for your interest and comments on my photos. That's much appreciated.

Please view at the full size of 1600. (double click, on PC)

It's also more pleasure for you.

So, we'd had a bench with hardly any view, but further on there was this marvellous view, with a bench down below, but not where we were. No problem, I just sat on the grass and relaxed.

Please excuse my long absence, I am really busy with my studies atm and I simply don't have that many pictures left to upload from last year ;)

Since it is currently grey and rainy all the time in Germany I am showing you one of my favorite summer sunrises photographed with my drone.

Wish I'd be there right now, it was so beautiful... and warm xD
