The Puffing Billy steam train climbs the Dandenong Ranges near Melbourne, along the way passing through beautiful rainforest valleys and fern gullies. Spend a minute or so with me as we pass by Fern trees and Stringybark eucalypts while the train climbs through the beautiful Dandenongs.

Explored!
Make your own, got a bandsaw? I use cedar wood and then give it a good coat of paint. The previous one lasted ten years, with the paint protecting the wood.
The video now starts off from the beginning, wish Flickr would change the 3 mins to longer, maybe 6 or 8 would be good.
The whole video of this is around 12 mins long but I edit the video so it would only be 3 mins long for Flickr.

It was quite a day as it all turned out! The early morning saw very little happening until the mist on the water and the fog rolling in off the land combined with the rising sun to create quite a show! Hope everyone enjoys the show!!
Another month. Sorry I always have the pictures that are a split second too long. full video || Hustle By: Tunng
Muja, an American alligator at Belgrade Zoo, is considered to be the oldest alligator in the world. Muјa arrived in Belgrade with another alligator, his mate, in September 1936 from Germany. At the time he arrived he was already an adult, so it is assumed that he was born before 1936. He survived World War II, during which the Zoo was almost completely destroyed, and the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999.
In 2012, he underwent a successful surgery to amputate some of his leg after he was diagnosed with gangrene.
The waterfall at Woodhead. Photos combined with a fade from one to another to create a moving image.
One of the reasons I'm so looking forward to my Holiday in Vietnam - 1 month to go! Yippee!
Please feel free to view the Photos from my last trip in 2007.
Episode LXXXVI
Hi Folks,
Our Teddybear Clan is very keen on cultural events, that’s why we all (the babies excluded) visited the Open Air Theatre in our Wild Garden to watch the ‘Goose Lake Ballet’, which we enjoyed very much as well as the music. SEVEN, the lamb was most interested in the music, too - sheep like music but unfortunately they are not offered music very often. PLOP and TABALUGA were babysitting while we were happy that the ‘Wild Garden Goose Ensemble’ performed this ballet exclusively for us. Here you can admire a scene of this wonderful ballet and the soothing accompanying music. SHE will be very proud of our Teddy family which shows such a great general interest in this cultural event !
Hugs all around

I did a wee shoot of Ashala with the last toy I photographed Asha with shortly before she passed and unfortunately this frisbee sunk in the water and Ashala couldn't find it and neither could I when I paddled in to look for it. It just vanished, I walked the beach for days after hoping it would be washed up. As this was one of Asha's last photo sessions with this ring I wanted to capture Ashala with Asha's ring through the years but it wasn't to be. I thought I'd make a wee video using most of the pictures of Ashala with this ring from that one shoot as a keepsake. At least I will always have this as a memento...

At the start of the Sockeye Salmon Run in coastal Alaska, we encountered a small mother Brown Bear (Ursus arctos) and her yearling cub. As they checked out the creeks and streams nearby, this little family was super cautious. They were alert for larger bears, including a few huge males, who could kill the cub. They began feeding on grass behind us. We were primarily focused on the male bears fishing the streams for salmon. After a while, our guide told us the mom + yearling were climbing the hill behind us.
Having a mother bear and her cub staring down at you from a steep hillside is a sobering experience. She seemed to be checking the surroundings and assessing the situation. Mom and cub were tired. When they headed down the slope - right towards us - we had very little room to maneuver. Our guide gathered us close and told us all to remain quiet and stay together. The mother looked a lot larger up close, especially when you saw her huge claws.
Thankfully, there was a happy ending. Apparently mom decided that we were less of a threat than the other bears in the area, and she perceived some safety in our group. She and Junior plopped right down next to us, and they both fell into a nap.
An awe-inspiring experience. Hope you enjoy our short video (part of a larger project we are working on, featuring the bear country of the Alaska Peninsula and the Homer/Kachemak Bay area on the other side of The Cook Inlet). Stay tuned for more short Alaska films, as we develop material for the larger project.
