When we talk about art in Tekirdag the first thing that reminds us is about the
versatile artist Nijat Ayvaz.
His art education started in Mtijdat Gezen Art Center with Classical Turkish
Music and as the years passed it was continuously strenghtened.
His photograph love started at the same period and it has strenghtened his
career with many individual exhibitions and in addition to that two Photograph
Albums : ‘Tekirdag is a Dream City-2005”,”Tekirdag City where the light
deepens-2007”and also "The City Touristic Map"which was unique. With these
works he has gained different dimention.
This artist who is known with his denotative discoveries contributes to Turkish
Culture and Tekirdag History and he was the first person who discovered and
photographed in 2005 1600 years Rome Water Arch and also was the first
person who discovered and photographed in 2006 Lale-i Rumi(OttomanTulip)
with its widespread name Istanbul Tulip which has been a legend in Ottoman
and Turkish World.
With this discovery the artist has become well known all over Turkey also has
been defined in the press as "Cultural Archaelogist".
In many festivals he performed songs in Anatolian Rock style ,and has many
compositions and arrangements. Also he has poems books which have been
published. They are "Rebelious Wind -2004 "(Asi Ruzgar),"Night
Runaway-2006"(Gece Kaçkını),and "Orange Dreams-2008".
He is a columnist and researcher ,writes local and abroad travel writings. He
shares his works related with art with his admirers in www.nijatayvaz.com and
in www.modemkasif.com sites.
Tekirdağ'da sanat deyince ilk akla gelen, çok yönlü bir sanat adamı Nijat Ayvaz.
1992 'de Müjdat Gezen Sanat Merkezi Klasik Türk Müziği bölümünde başlayan
Sanat eğitimi, yıllar içinde güçlenerek devam etmiş.
Aynı yıllarda başlayan Fotograf sevdası, günümüze kadar birçok kişisel sergi ile
kariyerini güçlendirip, bunlara ek olarak da "Tekirdağ Bir Rüya Kenti-2005",
"Işığın Derinleştiği Kent Tekirdağ-2007" isimleriyle iki Fotograf Albümü ve
Tekirdağ'da bir ilk çalışma olan "Tekirdağ Turistik Kent Haritası-2007'
çalışmalarıyla farklı bir boyut kazanmıştır.
Türkiye kültürüne ve Tekirdağ tarihine hizmet eden önemli keşifleriyle tanınan
değerli sanatçımız, 2005 yılında 1600 yıllık 'Roma Su Kemer' sistemlerini ilk
fotograflayıf keşfeden kişi olmuş ve yine 2006 yılında, 150 yıldır kayıp olan
Osmanlı ve Türk dünyasının bir efsanesi; 'Lâle-i Rumî' (Osmanlı Lâlesi) yaygın
adı ile "İstanbul Lâlesi"ni ilk kez fotograflayıp keşfeden kişi olmuştur.
Bu keşfi ile tüm Türkiye'nin tanıdığı sanatçımız, yaygın basında "Kültür
Arkeoloğu" olarak anılmıştır. Birçok festivalde 'Anadolu Rock' tarzında şarkı
söyleyerek sahne alan Nijat Ayvaz, beste, güfte alanındaki çalışmalarını, aynı
duygu yoğunluğu içinde sevenleriyle paylaşmaya devam etmektedir.
Sanatçı, sırasıyla "Asi Rüzgar-2004", "Gece Kaçkını-2006", "Turuncu
Düşler-2008" isimli şiir kitaplarını yayınlamıştır. Yıllardır çeşitli dergilerde sanat
makaleleri yazan Nijat Ayvaz'ın, günlük gazetelerde yayınlanmış köşe yazıları
da bulunmaktadır. Yazılarında; Yurt içi ve yurt dışı gezilerindeki gözlemlerini,
günlük siyasi ve sosyal olaylara bakış açısını 1994 yılından bu yana kaleme
almaktadır.
