Versatile Peruvian Zinnias are at home in cottage gardens, as a mass planting, and among meadow flowers. An easy-care annual wildflower that will bloom all summer, it produces an abundance of red, nectar-rich flowers that attract butterflies and bees. Pine Creek Falls is one of many waterfalls in the Knobs Region of Kentucky, a horseshoe-shaped wall of steep knobs that buffers the undulating grass hills of the Bluegrass Region, famous for its horse farms. Just a few miles away from here in this eastern section of the unique Knobs Region of Kentucky, a mountainous Appalachian Plateau Region emerges with its ancient but vivacious beauty.
