This is the Versatile Wrap Skirt from Make It Perfect patterns. I used the Secret Garden and Stained Glass prints from Patty Young's Mezzanine line. They are soooo bright, and I really love them, but I was hard pressed to find a top that goes well with these fabrics. The pink one I made just didn't work with this style skirt, so this white tank top (Ottobre Woman 2/07) is temporarily standing in until I find something else.

The MT-5000 is a versatile, hand-held tester — it is fast, reliable, and durable. It tests opens, shorts, and miswires from 1- to 25-pairs and can accommodate a combination of 25-pair and modular jack terminations. For instance, using the 25-pair test adapter (see below), the remote unit can be attached to a 66 block that is
connected to multiple horizontal cable runs in the equipment closet. Then, using the modular jack in the master unit, one person can test up to six 4-pair station cables in the work area. Cable runs of up to 762m (2,500 ft.) can be tested with accuracy.
The MT-5000 tests individual conductors, not pairs. This allows testing of all wiring configurations including
USOC, T568A, and T568B.
The MT-5000 consists of a master and a remote unit. The master controls all of the test functions, so one person can perform testing. Test results are reported on a large, easy-to-read LCD display. Each unit has both male and female 25-pair connectors, one 6-position (1-, 2- or 3-pair) modular jack, and one 8-position (4-pair) keyed modular jack. The unit also features a low-battery status indicator, a power input jack, and a power saving autooff switch. It comes in a padded, nylon carrying case with batteries included

i have been watching Carl and rist of the Gangs since i was 13 years old. i first heard of classic our gang series when i saw the remake version of the Little Rascals movie in 1994. at first i never knew that there was a classic Our Gang series, just as i never knew that the movie i watched was the remake. and since then, i became a huge fan of little rascals and Alfie. alfie was a great actor and singer, who worked hard on other jobs such as bartender, and dog breeder, just to make ends meet. he really is a hard working individual and that's what i love about Alfie.
i have first seen Carl in the snippets from the informercials and i was thinking of ordering the VHS and then the DVD of it. i still keep the DVD of this and the others. the funniest part that i've seen was the bubbles scene where Carl was singing "i'm in love with you" and the bubbles came out of his mouth when singing, in an episode titled "Hearts are Thump." that to me was the funniest scene of all time. But my fave episode was "Spooky Hooky, where Carl and some of the Gangs were trying to fake their sickness to go to the circus but then their plan backfired. i have so many memories from watching these series and other shows that Carl was in, especially "It's a wonderful Life" and "On our Merry Way." i'll be looking forward to see his movies and shows in the future because i haven't seen all of them. it's like i'm getting to know little more about Carl and his acting skills.
i watched Alfie from Our Gang to Roy Rogers Show, when me and my family used to watch growing up. the reason why i post this pic of the DVD and the pic of Alfie(as you can see the pic is casted in resin for the pendant making)is because he is someone i adore watching. whenever i'm down, i watch his shows to cheer me up. he made me laugh, smile with humor. it's his sense of humor that fills my heart with joy. he's the most versatile actor ever and i look forward to seeing his other shows since i haven't seen all of them.
it also marks today's date of the time Alfie passed 56 years ago, on Jan. 21, 1959. it was a tragic death for him as he got shot from the bad friend over money. as i read the article of this incident, it broke my heart and i went emotional about it. i wish he wouldn't have died at such a young age(in his early thirties), but his spirit will always live forever. May God bless him and his family and friends. i will pray for him. i admire Alfie so much because he reminds me of my brother Jae in some ways, like same posture and their facial expressions when he takes his pictures and their facial expressions.
the rest of the actors of the Our Gang series are brilliant and great, but if i were to choose any Our Gang that i like, it'd be Alfie(some of the other Gangs too, like Buckwheat and Porky) because i can relate to him in some ways, like having a good sense of humor and being a hard worker. and we share same birth month, too (our b-day month is August, mines the 11 and his is the 7th) As much as Jae and my best friend Dani (may God rest their souls) comforts and guides me, Carl will, too, with the light of cheerfulness. and he'll always have a very special place in my heart forever. let's light the candles for them.
