2 wheel shot blasting cabinet and dust arrester (not shown). Blast cabinet is manufactured by Shotblast Engineering Services. vertically hung cylinders enter blast cablinet via overhead track. when correctly positioned doors close and cylinder is rotated slowly whilst being blasted by shot from 2 off rotating wheels within cabinet. blast angle is variable by mechanical adjustment. variable cycle time upto 5 minutes
A pair of variable oystercatchers, the same pair that bread last season, have again raised three chicks. The adults aggressively chase off any birds - of whatever variety - that come near.
The adult pair put on a piping display to discourage another Variable Oystercatcher that had landed nearby.
