Pizza at the Park,,
A delightful outdoor dining experience and a refreshing taste of old Italy has arrived in Kentville in the form of an authentic handcrafted Neapolitan masterfully formed old Napoli style Pizza that is prepared using only daily harvested local farm grown ingredients delicately layered on a hand-caressed bed of slow rising Sicilian sweet dough before being baked to perfection in the blistering 1000-degree volcanic heat produced by an in house dome style stone and mortar apple-wood burning biblical baking oven before being transferred by hand carved olive tree hewn paddle board to an elegant Roma statuary marble serving platform secured on a trio of perfectly aligned mid 19th-century Victorian wrought iron support arms that all seem to reach out boldly from the exterior of the host pizzeria to invite passer by pedestrian traffic into a gastronomical world of unresistant over indulgence to experience our ultra-modern multi-function mobile kitchen culinary EV catering unit now parked in a discreet location amongst the natural beauty and sublime serenity of Kentville's meticulously manicured Memorial Park where our humble crew of internationally trained highly skilled professional pizza-making maestros eagerly await the honor and privilege of providing valued Valley visitors with an unforgettable pizza dining experience that is deliberately designed with an added attention to detail that is sure to satisfy any individual taste and the culinary cravings of even the most demanding pizza connoisseur .

Some bad news - Drastic cutbacks to public entertainment by the Town of Kentville will punish citizens and end the enjoyment of these guest Tribute band performances ? In an ongoing decline in content and quality of Kentville town entertainment, all normal mid-week public displays and entertainment that were always held at Memorial Park during the Apple Blossom Festival week have been curtailed by a new generation of administrators ? These Cost saving frugal decisions will conserve Town money by inflicting public entertainment cut-backs on citizens ?
More bad news, Drastic cutbacks by the Town of Kentville will end a long-time tradition of mid week Apple blossom open public entertainment normally held each year during the Apple Blossom Festival down at Memorial Park ? And so ever since these major entertainment cancellations backs in 2017, instead of an interesting and fun filled evening for the residents of Kentville, there's just a silent empty Park on Wednesdays and Thursdays at Kentville's Memorial Park during the Apple Blossom Festival ? No explanation, replacement, substitution or apology was ever offered ?

Corporate frugality and mean miserliness is shown by the new Apple Blossom Festival Directors in 2025 ? Instead of providing a guest Tribute band at the free Memorial Park Friday night concert, it's now 50.00 pp to see the 'Queen' Tribute band performance. that's 50.00 per ticket in 2025 ? acadiau.universitytickets.com/

Over five days, more than 70 participants, consisting mainly of AfricaRice scientists, as well as key technical partners and value chain actors from Côte d’Ivoire met at the Science Week 2019 to discuss ongoing work, progress, modes of partnership and research support.
The Science Week was held, 11-15 February 2019, at AfricaRice’s main research station in M’bé, near Bouaké, Côte d’Ivoire. A major highlight of this year’s Science Week was a joint reflection on strategic issues, challenges and opportunities for charting the future direction of research at AfricaRice for the next five years against the backdrop of the evolving funding landscape.
Another distinguishing feature of the Science Week was the presence of technical partners and value chain actors from Côte d’Ivoire testifying to a mutual commitment to renewed strengthening of partnership.
Prof. Pétronille Acray-Zengbethe, Director General for Research and Innovation at the Ivorian Ministry of Scientific Research and Higher Education, and Dr Yté Wongbé, Director General of the Ivorian National Center for Agricultural Research (CNRA) pledged strong support to collaborative initiatives.
Other partners included representatives from ADERIZ, PADFA, Universities of F.H. Boigny, Abobo/Adjamé, Bouaké and Yamoussoukro as well as ROPPA farmers’ organization, Bouaké parboilers innovation platform and Bilhof seed enterprise.
Opening remarks were made by Dr Yté Wongbé and Prof. Seraphin Kati-Coulibaly, AfricaRice Board Member, who represented Prof. Sophie Thoyer, Chair of the Board Program Committee. AfricaRice Director General Dr Harold Roy-Macauley gave the opening address.

During their presentation, the Young European Ambassadors introduced university students to the European Union’s history and values, and explained the benefits of its partnership with the Republic of Moldova. They also shared their experience from participating in EU-funded projects and informed the audience about the opportunities from which they could benefit.
How much do you value a dollar? Even though you have doubts it will go where they told you. Do you still freely give your money away in hope that maybe this time?
1: The element this image is expressing is "Value." It is reflected to composition because it serves to create a mood and it leads the eye through the photograph.
2: The main subject matter of the photograph is positioned near value.
3: The steps that make this image successfully visually striking is because of the saturated blues making the image eye catching.
4: I can improve on this photo if I reshot it by maybe trying to get less of the sky and more of the falls.
