Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;
To bend with apples the moss'd cottage-trees,
And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells

In Malmesbury. July 1993. Bus was new to PMT.
Though I arrived here on this bus I have no memory of it!....Too long ago, too many buses....
PLEASE, NO invitations, graphics or self promotions, THEY WILL BE DELETED. My photos are FREE to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks.
Above is the Heppell covered bridge was built back in 1909 by the Heppell family and spans approximately 40 meters (131 ft).

Attack a friend and you create an enemy forever and you will regret it, the trust is gone.
Can't remember what was going on here, but in Aug 2001 this ex-Hants & Dorset convertible VR was operating on the Downs Tour service from Ryde.

.
#AlphaTrainingRecap 9/12: These are the joysticks we use to move the @Space_Station's Canadarm for maintenance, spacewalks and berthing spacecraft. As with everything training makes us get used to it. We use the joysticks to operate the robotic arm in all degrees of movement possible, which is many! There are some pictures of the setup on the Space Station where there are two robotic workstations, one in Cupola and one in the US Destiny Lab, and a picture of the arm in use, releasing HTV-6. Hopefully this year the European Robotic Arm will be launched with the latest addition to the International Space Station, the Russian laboratory Nauka, then we get an extra two robotic arm workstations!

For many, the star of the Express Motors fleet is their open top Bristol VR UVW 622S. Once again this year the bus has made it's annual appearance on a shuttle service linking the Ffestiniog Railway's 'Harbour' station, the Welsh Highland Railway (1964)'s operation, the Cambrian Coast line at the other end of town and the Pont Croesor railhead where the majority of the 'big' Welsh Highland trains terminate. Twice a day the service diverts to serve the holiday parks at Morfa Bychan (Black Rock Sands area) and it was returning from there that this picture was taken.
I'd seen the top of bus approaching in the distance over the trees, but thoroughly expected the little group of walkers who'd shown up out of nowhere to louse it up after all the planning! ... Luckily ....
Nikon D800E 70-200mm f/2.8 VR2 Lens photos of tall, brunette, pretty Asian bikini swimsuit model goddess!
The thin, fit goddess with pretty brown eyes, freckles, and long silky brown hair is posing with the black 45SURF surfboard which gets HOT in the sun!
Here's some video of the pretty goddess:
The main words on the barrel of the Gold 45 Revolver on her swimsuit are Virgil's, "Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito," which means,
"Yield not to evils, but attack all the more boldly."
It was a perfect socal spring day for a beach photoshoot under a blue sky!
Shot with a new Nikon D800 E and Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II AF-S Nikkor Zoom Lens.
Captured in both RAW and JPEG--these photos are all RAWs finished in Lightroom 4.
Modeling the black & gold "Gold 45 Revolver" Gold'N'Virtue swimsuits with the main equation to Moving Dimensions Theory on the swimsuits: dx4/dt=ic. Yes I have a Ph.D. in physics! :) You can read more about my research and Hero's Journey Physics here:
herosjourneyphysics.wordpress.com/ MDT PROOF#2: Einstein (1912 Man. on Rel.) and Minkowski wrote x4=ict. Ergo dx4/dt=ic--the foundational equation of all time and motion which is on all the shirts and swimsuits. Ten years ago, First still had a handful of Bristol VRs in service in Dorset, albeit mainly on schools work. Here we see former Southern National 1161 (AFJ 768T) at Bridport on such a duty. A few weeks before this photo, First had moved the Weymouth & Bridport operations onto the First Hampshire Ltd licence (appropriately renamed First Hampshire & Dorset Ltd at the same time), so the bus was technically on its third keeper from new: Western National OC, Southern National and FH&D. The FH&D company, of course, started life in 1986 as the arms-length company for Southampton Citybus.
On a completely different topic, I'm very pleased to see that Aviary has had a revamp and the incredibly annoying borders to any text added to pictures has been dropped. Yippee! :-)

1:36 drawing of VR's popular C class loco. This is the first in a series of drawings of Australian motive power under the 'OzTrains' banner, so feel free to offer suggestions. I started with the C as it's one of my favourite locos. If anyone notices something is amiss, please let me know. I am currently 'painting' this as C501, then I will be modifying it to bring it to the current operational standard, with ALL liverys.

Ralph Waldo Emerson. The happiest man is he who learns from nature the lesson of worship.
Lucius Annaeus Seneca: On entering a temple we assume all signs of reverence. How much more reverent then should we be before the heavenly bodies, the stars, the very nature of God!
John Muir: All the wild world is beautiful, and it matters but little where we go, to highlands or lowlands, woods or plains, on the sea or land or down among the crystals of waves or high in a balloon in the sky; through all the climates, hot or cold, storms and calms, everywhere and always we are in God's eternal beauty and love. So universally true is this, the spot where we chance to be always seems the best.

Devon General Bristol VR 623 DGR477S on The Strand Torquay. This bus was new to Northern General but had been ordered by Trent. Two apologies one for the photo quality and the second for the date taken. It was a day when the booked open topper on this route was being used for the celebrations of a local sports team.At the time it was one of the last full size buses in use in a minibus dominated fleet.
