ECW bodied convertible Bristol VRTSL3/6LXB 617 (UWV 617S) recently restored to Southdown West Sussex two tone green and cream livery looked superb as it stood on the seafront at Worthing on July 31st 2016.
Old railroad car at a rail yard. Age is starting to show and I love photoing everything that looks old. This certainly did as an abandoned car.
"VR" stands for Finnish railway company owned by the state of Finland. Name is originated from "Valtionrautatiet" (State railways) from 1922 or from the original name "Suomen Valtion Rautatiet" (Railways of the state of Finland) from 1862.

Sr2 3214 departs from Leppävaara on the 12.36 Helsinki - Kupittaa (terminating there instead of Turku due to engineering work).
Australian Brown Falcon (Falco berigora) -- this one often perches in this spot in the late afternoon.
Delivered 16 Jul 80. Re-reg to B-HIB 1 Jul 97. It later became TF-ATC. Broken up Kemble Jul 04.

WHEN ST/ VALENTINE' DAY CAME. WE WENT TO SIDCOR, A SUNDAY ONLY SWAPMEET WHERE ONE CAN SEE ALL THE PLANTS FOR SALE, FOOD TO EAT AND BUY, EVEN DOGS, CATS AND BIRDS. I BROUGHT MY NIKON D7000 AND 28-300 FX VR LENS. I TOOK SHOTS AND THEN WENT HOME WHERE WE HAD A LUNCH WITH ALL THE FAMILY MEMBERS. I DID NOT ASK FOR THE NAME OF THIS PLANT. THANKS TO THOSE WHO FAVE. COMMENT AND VIEW THIS PHOTO. IT WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED. I WILL NOT HOWEVER,M COMMENT OR SAVE A PHOTO TAKEN BY A CELL PHONE, IPADS OR SIMILAR DEVICES.
We spent almost six hours at the Museum of Technology but even that was a too short visit for the little one.
Morning with Cascade Mountain from the Banff townsite, Banff National Park, Alberta
Stopped for a Starbucks beverage in the Banff townsite before heading up the Icefields Parkway.
Cascade Mountain was looking particularly nice in the bright morning light so out came the infrared camera.

Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks run a private courtesy bus service for their clients from the Holiday Park high on the hill above Woolacombe to the beach. Performing this role on a very sunny 14 May 2014 was Bristol VR UFX 856S and is seen here just leaving the beach stop on its way back up the hill to the Holiday Park. It was an amazing sound when it turned the corner after this photo was taken and started climbing steeply.
A previous open top VR fulfilling this role was ex Western National AFJ 705T. Sneaking into view behind is Filers Solo MX57 CBV on the 303 to Barnstaple.
VR Travel 107 (V158 EFS) on the Blackwood Rail Link service at Nelson Road, Ystrad Mynach, on 04-07-2012.
Great Yarmouth Transport were one of a small number of municipal operators to specify the Bristol VR, though the ready availability of the locally built ECW bodywork might have been an influencing factor. Here PVG 24W skirts the roundabout in front of Britannia Pier wearing it's attractive traditional colour scheme. An unusual feature, if a little 'anoraky' is the late use of tube type 10.00x20 tyres, rather than the then almost universally standard 11x22.5 tubeless. I have to confess that I've never been back to the town since their last AEC Swifts were withdrawn, so am not sure what 'delights' lurk there these days.
Four former Maidstone & District highbridge Bristol VRs passed from Hastings & District to Eastern Counties between February and May 1985. Seen here on in Norwich on August 10th 1994 is 332 (KKE 732N).
Stockport again,and the connection here is that a NBC standard bus looks strange operating for a PTE.This batch of Bristol VRs were ordered by North Western but delivered to Greater Manchester PTE,who had time to have their own destination displays fitted,although the via display seems to have been painted over in black on this bus! Here the first of the batch,AJA401L is seen in April 1983 working a 385 to Hazel Grove Station.Some survived long enough to recieve the chocolate and orange livery as worn by the bus behind.
