Imagen capturada en la Plaza de America de Sevilla, en ella se ve el reflejo invertido del Museo de Artes y Costumbres Populares. Esta arquitectura de estilo neomudéjar, fue construido en 1914 sobre un proyecto realizado en 1913 con motivo de la Exposición Iberoamericana de 1929. Obra del arquitecto Aníbal González, autor también de los otros edificios levantados en la misma plaza de América donde se ubica este museo.

Está construido en ladrillo visto con aplicaciones de cerámica repleta de motivos llenos de fantasía. Durante la Exposición Iberoamericana era conocido como el Pabellón de Arte Antiguo, y posteriormente como Pabellón Mudejar, hasta que comenzó a desarrollar su función actual.

Este pabellón, antes de ser destinado como museo, ha sido escogido para otros usos desde su fecha de construcción.Sus funciones como museo se desarrollan desde el 4 de marzo de 1973, fecha en que abre sus puertas al público.

Number Six Blast Furnace

Algoma’s Number Six Blast Furnace and steelworks. The Number Six was built in 1953, with a $40 million dollar rebuild in 2008; it has a capacity of 1 million nTPA, a working volume of 44,864 cubic feet, three stoves, and was built by Arthur G. McKee and Company. It has mostly remained idle for the past decade.

Bijna elke nacht wordt er aan de lijn Zwolle-Wierden gewerkt om de lijn te elektrificeren. Hierdoor komt er ook eens een andere diesel op het station van Nijverdal. Aan het begin van februari zijn ze begonnen met het plaatsten van de portalen.

De avond van 4 februari ben ik naar Nijverdal gefietst en daar, na ruim twee en een half uur wachten bij het laatst geplaatste portaal tussen Wierden en Nijverdal, kwam dan eindelijk de VolkerRail 203-2 langs met de ombouwtrein. Tot mijn verbazing reden ze eerst door naar het station van Nijverdal om daar dan kop te maken en dan in de richting van Wierden te gaan werken. Na passage ben ik dus keihard naar het station gefietst, aldaar was ik net op tijd aangekomen op de plek om dit plaatje te kunnen maken. Na een paar minuten vertrokken ze rond de klok van 0:00 weer vanaf het station van Nijverdal om tussen hier en Wierden de portalen te gaan plaatsen.

My first time photographing the beautiful "Voa Canarinho" scheme of Gol! They are the current official carrier of the Brazilian Football Team. This scheme looks nice in my opinion, better than the one used by sistership PR-GUM.

Here, PR-GUK is seen taking off from runway 13, with a strobe light flashing at the tip of the wing.

Op 15 augustus 2016 werd met de tent vertrokken richting het zuiden. Aangezien ik nog wat moest ophalen in Aachen werd besloten dit te combineren met een korte kampeervakantie in die omgeving. Na het ophalen van mijn reisgenoot werd eerst nog even richting Boxtel gereden op deze heerlijk zonnige dag, waar al snel na aankomst de Volkerrail 203-5 met een Unimat wisselstopmachine als trein 56040 vanuit Dordrecht de fotografen passeerde. Een leuk begin van de vakantie!
