She was a beauty--a gold 45 goddess for sure! A Gold 45 Goddess exalts the archetypal form of Athena--the Greek Goddess of wisdom, warfare, strategy, heroic endeavour, handicrafts and reason. A Gold 45 Goddess guards the beauty of dx4/dt=ic and embodies 45SURF's motto "Virtus, Honoris, et Actio Pro Veritas, Amor, et Bellus, (Strength, Honor, and Action for Truth, Love, and Beauty," and she stands ready to inspire and guide you along your epic, heroic journey into art and mythology. It is Athena who descends to call Telemachus to Adventure in the first book of Homer's Odyssey--to man up, find news of his true father Odysseus, and rid his home of the false suitors, and too, it is Athena who descends in the first book of Homer's Iliad, to calm the Rage of Achilles who is about to draw his sword so as to slay his commander who just seized Achilles' prize, thusly robbing Achilles of his Honor--the higher prize Achilles fought for. Judds VR stands in Whittlesey market place on their route to Peterborough on 14 August 2010. This bus was new to City of Oxford in 1977. Though one fleetname says Emblings, Judds are the registered operator of this service!
Latin Name: Sympetrum striolatum
Habitat
Ponds and other still, stagnant or even brackish waters are used, and they are frequently found at small garden ponds.
They are frequently found away from water, resting on the tops of plants in woodland rides.
Status & Distribution
Abundant across the British Isles. Less common in upland areas of Scotland and northern England.
Similar Species
Similar appearance to other Darter species, particularly Ruddy Darter
Common Darter can be distinguished by its:
pale leg stripes
males: yellow patches on the sides of the thorax.
Identification Notes
Length: 38-43mm
Pale stripes on legs.
Wing spots vary in colour.
Black line at the top of the frons (faces) does not extend down the side of the eyes.
Males: bright orange-red with yellow panels on side of the thorax.
Females: ochre becoming duller/reddish with age.
Immature adults: similar to females but paler.
Seen at BP filling station at Pampisford A505 on its way from Great Sampford to Carl Ireland (dealer) Hull
The One-Eleven enjoyed a career as a biz jet as well as an airliner - VR-CCG soldiered on until 2006
Restaurant. c1500 restored 1929 by Brierley and Rutherford. Timber-framed, frame and plaster infilling.
Timber-framed, approximately 75 percent intact, restored in places, survives in all parts of the building.
Range represents the survival of an apparently rare building type of which few other examples were known nationally.

Devon General Bristol VR 623 DGR477S on The Strand Torquay. This bus was new to Northern General but had been ordered by Trent. Two apologies one for the photo quality and the second for the date taken. It was a day when the booked open topper on this route was being used for the celebrations of a local sports team.At the time it was one of the last full size buses in use in a minibus dominated fleet.
This picture was taken at an altitude 30,000 meters, and it's video is available in YouTube( youtu.be/-6eRKIssgMk ).
A Lincs Roadcar series II Bristol VR freshly repainted and seen in newark.This bus was ex Yorkshire Traction.The bus had not even received fleet names when i took this photo.
A bead van sherpa can be seen in the background,thease at one time formed the back bone of Roadcar minibus fleet,as did the VR for there double deck needs.
The VR fleet was replaced by Leyland atlanteans during the mid/late nineties,and the unreliable sherpas had tarnsit engines retro fitted before they were replaced by better merc minbuses and some awful renault dodge's.

The great thing about the beach is that it presents an entirely different universe from season to season, from day to day, from hour to hour, from second to second, with the ever changing wind, tides, clouds, and sun. A split second with tumbling surf and a sinking sun can make a vast different, resulting in entirely different photographs.

Bristol VR DNG233T seen on the roundabout between The Haymarket & Bond Street, near Cabot Circus, Broadmead, this bus has been converted to a static café, known as 'Bearritos'. This bus was with River Link, Dartmouth from 2009 - 2013, but was used for spares from 2011. 16th Feb 2016

VR 2553 is a member of the Dv12 Class of diesel hydraulic locomotives built by Lokomo and Valmet between the years 1963 and 1984. The class eventually numbered 192 locomotives, which are still in service. They are a general purpose locomotive being used for both passenger and freight on non electrified lines and for shunting duties as depicted here at Pori.

Here is some awesome video I shot at the same time as the stills with the Sony Alpha NEX 6 camera with the 16-50 mm power zoom kit lens for nex6 e mount cameras bracketed to my Nikon D800:

Combine the shallow-depth-of-field with Sony NEX-6 latest face-tracking auto focus, and you can see how the moving video keeps the model's pretty blue eyes in focus, while blurring the background! The Sony Alpha NEX 6 has much better bokeh than the cameras I have been using! :)
She was tall, thin, fit, toned, defined, and beautiful! Pretty blue eyes and firery red hair!

The books behind the pretty goddess on the Malbu bluff and surfboard are The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire by Edward Gibbon, Homer's Iliad, Homer's Odyssey, Shakespeare, and Herman Melville's Moby Dick!
