Just going through some of the archives, and came across a few shots I took last July while waiting for the fireworks. Nothing overly special about it, but warming it up and applying a vintage filter in post made it pop a little. It's been a long winter, and I'm tired of looking at snow, so although this is an older image, it's a welcome sight.

Tried to create a vintage look to one of my shots, using textures. Thanks to the talended and generous 'pareeerica' for the textures.

Never mind the Speed champions...here are the Vintage 90ies parts cars. Even fits 2 minifig heads inside for "functionality" ;)

And again, old parts still do the trick. allready explored a new technique, where the two sided 2x4 roof slope elements can be very handy for creating a one sided sloping with a plate construction touching one of its surfaces smoothly.

The foot crossing at Rickerscote, Stafford, from which this picture was obtained is now closed. It was quite popular with local dog walkers, but I suppose there were probably too many near misses for comfort. On 30th May 2009 Class 86/2 No. 86259 'Les Ross' approaches at speed with Vintage Trains 'Cumbrian Coast Express', 1Z30 0645 Birmingham New Street - Ravenglass. Vintage ringe in a vintage ring box

I've been collecting vintage cameras this summer and, inevitably, came across other vintage items while searching for them. I couldn't resist these beautiful, ornate binoculars. I wonder who they belonged to and where they were used. They're rather grand.

Vintage Technology

Vintage Glass Insulator used on old lighting rods as you can see the metal pole in the center, found in North Carolina.

Chicago Great Western 26 rolls a vintage selection of freight cars below Daytons Bluff at St. Paul, MN on 09-23-1972. Built in June of 1948, this NW2 was renumbered to the C&NW 1029 in 1973.

A ‘Vintage Still Life’ from a new series called: In Search of a Still Life...

which builds on simple objects to create the look and feel of an aged, classic painting.

I've IDed most of this stuff and it makes me a little sad that there's no complete outfits, but now it just makes me want to hunt down the other pieces more. My favorite is the Smasheroo jacket.

I have a few more Maddie Mod pieces in my giant container of Barbie clothes and I used to have even more but I gave some away when I was a child and now I'm kicking myself.
