I know absolutely nothing about boats, and I'm not going to pretend I do. With that said, this is from an old Shepherd Utility boat (from what I've been told), believed to be from 1946. This old woody is tucked away in a storage shed out on St. Joseph's Island, where my buddy was looking at a boat he's interested in. It was extremely dark inside, so I setup the tripod for a long 30sec exposure. I love the look of these old boats.
Kit from Harbor Freight. Dimensions 40" x 49". Will carry 860 lbs. Cost $ 140-. I guess it took me a little over one day to put it together. I spread the project out over several days because I was not in any hurry.
After not having done any public utility box projects for a couple years we have several in process at the moment hopefully awaiting approval so we can get started. This design was just approved by the Allston Village Main Streets committee and now awaits final approval from the Boston Mayor's office. Not sure where the box is located but stay tuned for photos when we get underway.
You can see lots more of our public art projects at www.howiegreen.com

Climate control install nearly complete. It is operational and effective. The reef stand has been started (left of frame) this is now a temporary work bench. A temporary tank (60cmx30cm) currently houses my tetra shoal, one Black neon "Hyphessobrycon herbertaxelrodi" died of intestinal worms yesterday so a course of treatment will begin today on all systems as I have cross contaminated some equipment during this build. The fish was over four years old. This was the last shoal I bought, which numbered 20, now there are 15 left. I have decided to install the temperature minus fan system in case of failure with the hot air system. I'm not a fan of boiled fish. Hopefully it will never switch on!
