A very neat interface access to electric, gas and water systems for a hotel on Waymouth Street. I like the tidy arrangement of the cabinet doors.

This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Utility. In the 1940's, production of cars was paused from 1942 through 1945. It is interesting to see some of the other innovations that came from that period in time. HMMM!
This image captures a striking view of utility poles stretching across the landscape at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, located near Denver, Colorado. The photograph showcases a row of wooden power poles receding into the distance, creating a strong leading line against a dramatic winter backdrop.
I don't know what it is about Utility covers, but whenever I see one I feel the need to explore it for a capture.
With this one I like how some of the fine snow had been trapped making for some cool shapes. Of course rust, at least in my opinion will always add some great colour and texture. Hard for me to resist a shot where rust is involved
Another truck at the Wapato Showdown.. I'm not sure if it was there as an entry for the show or as a safety precaution.. No Matter, it was a nice looking truck... Happy Truck Thursday, Everybody!!!!!!
Back to one upload per day. Now I did not say one image per day;) This is kind of a bonus image. Taken very recently and just a couple of days apart. I am not sure what it is with me and utility covers, but it must be that they are not moving, easy to get at in just looking down and almost always they are rusty, and I love rust, at least on things I do not own.
These are the larger ones that are on Town property, not the individual residential property type shutoffs.Anyway I have uploaded this composite quite large so that each image would still have decent detail when viewed full, and the detail (texture) is important to these images.
