The utility cover is half-rained-on and half-not.

I'm not sure what it was, but there was something about the line of poles, the hills and the clouds that really appealed to me. If I'd waited around a few hours the color would have been amazing. It was such a colorful sunset. I was shopping with my daughter which was more important than taking photos. I did watch for a few minutes and maybe I drooled a bit!!

Out for a lunchtime walk, I found these utility poles. Looks like a couple broke (due to automobile impacts) and a new one was put up. But the old poles are still here, with a long bolt through them. The bolt sticks out into the path of pedestrians on the sidewalk. Not a good repair job, IMHO.

The old and the new. I love the warehouse district feel of this building behind the northside garage. It's one of the few buildings on campus ... and might be the only one ... that's made out of red brick.
