We headed to Hocking Hills this past weekend, for what has become our annual unplug and recharge weekend.
Members and friends of LinlithGROW helping to harvest apples from a local orchard. Apples were then pressed later in the afternoon.

After our whole group session broke for the evening, folks started to work at investigating the map, and began to add connections to help make sense of the various bits.
This version includes a title that attempts to pull out some of my key themes, substituted for the more generic "My Letter from The Edge."
Rodd Lucier and the Unplug'd12 team have done a wonderful job pulling together and presenting all of the artifacts from this fantastic event. The various and yet resonating themes provide a wonderful montage of key issues, concerns, and hopes for learning in this age.
The quality of design on the website is so beautiful, I'm not happy just leaving it on the Internet. This image combines my letter (two screen captures, aligned and merged in photoshop, together with a third screen capture (the cover page) and a brief descriptive text. I'm thinking a nice plaque mount of this will make a wonderful keepsake.

The duck family swam up to the dock close to the shore, climbed over, and then after a little walk on the sand, re-entered the water and swam away.
