A solution to the problem of plugging in all the consoles. I've been picking these up at various thrift stores, mostly so that I don't have to constantly plug in and unplug my consoles.
Following my sunrise morning photo solo paddle, and after a brief on-shore recuperation (kneeling in a canoe after a while takes its toll on your ankles), I ventured out onto the lake again, this time in the company of Tom Fullerton. In addition to enjoying the early morning lake and the ducks, we had a great conversation, and had a chance to share some wonderful stories.
Tom's comments during the #Unplugd closing circle were that much more meaningful as a result of this paddle on Saturday morning.
Me: I've got the TiVo green error screen that says to wait 3 hours.
TiVo Customer Service: What does the error say?
Me: It's the TiVo Green Screen of Death, It's all over the web.
I then read the whole screen to her over the phone.
After asking me to unplug hte phone line and power, then plug in the phone line and power, the same screen came up.
She offered to sell me a replacement TiVo for $149 since I have lifetime service.
Step 2: unplug these 2 plugs from the bumper and there is 1 more on the other side. That's it. the bumper is off. Takes about 10 minutes. Pull off the styrofoam off that is under the bumper cover as well.

Some fog starting to form at twilight over the Baylands. It always surprises me that there's often almost no one out here.
Macbook disassembly/reassembly to fix bluetooth and sleep problems. Cables connecting bluetooth module to motherboard are packed tightly between other cables, causing a "hardware not available" error message when CPU warms up. In turn, the faulty bluetooth wakes the computer from sleep mode, preventing sleep.
