My wife and I decided that the best way to unplug from our lives was to get on a boat and get as far away as we can! We got to enjoy to sights and sounds that our southern country of Mexico had to offer aboard the Carnival Fantasy Cruise liner. And, I got to try my hand in street photography using vintage lenses. Honestly one of the best vacations to date, and we are looking forward to going back!
Unplug from the screens and engage your kids in the adventure of experiential learning. Here in this 4,000-square-foot space specially designed for our pint-sized playmates, children can stretch out and explore the elements of nature at their own pace. Rosemary, scented geranium, oregano, and other fragrant herbs line the ramp, piquing their senses as they bounce along to the rhythms of cascading waterfalls and child-sized fountains featuring a menagerie of creatures. A bamboo maze and a dripping cave provide an element of discovery and surprise. Hidden bugs wait to be spotted in the architecture, set to the backdrop of colorful mosaic tiles. Many of our guests have been bringing their children here for years, and adults who came here when they were young still fondly recall how much fun it was to explore this wonderland. After all, what better place to grow up than in a garden?

July 13, 2010 - I love my iMac! However, one thing it lacks is enough USB ports for all the peripheral devices that I often have plugged in. I found this great USB Hub Man at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. It works great! I can now plug in my camera, iPod, external HD, and printer without having to unplug anything!
Faced with a faulty auto panel, if you have one of these, conversion to semi-auto is simple - take the cover off behind the driver's head, unplug the similar 30-way plug and fit this one, and the auto panel is bypassed. These were used in LT garages as 'get-you-home' devices in case of panel failures on the road.

What a day! Had a brush with death in a 127 hours situation with my new washing machine. The guy who installed it forgot to remove the shipping bolts which meant the washing machine bounced across the laundry room and right in front of the door. I made an attempt to unplug the washing machine by opening the door a few inches, but the washing machine decided to pin my arm against the wall. Long story short, the testosterone kicked in and all is good now.
As for today's picture, grabbed a shot of the upstairs light - I love the way the light pours out of the hand-painted glass globe. Very cool.
