Seemingly totally at odds with the surrounding domestic housing, this property in Clive Street stands out for its unusual design. The lay out may denote some specific past use, the gable being most noteworthy in this respect.
Tunstall was one of the later towns to be developed in the Potteries and much of the housing was laid out to a structured plan with many of its terraced properties of generous size. This area on the outskirts of town was constructed in the mid nineteenth century.

Friend of a client asked if i would train their new maid. She is a feminist and convinced a submissive sissy to become her cleaning maid.
I personally tnought the sissy maid dress was too much. But the homeower found it hiilarious to make him clean in it.
Interestingly, she did have the other more normal maid dress she loaned me!
All i cared about was that he learned to get that house spotless and work until he was exhausted - like i do

Unique EMR 222104 slows through Ratcliffe-on-Soar with 1F12 07:30 London St. Pancras - Sheffield. Nice to see the additional intermediate carriage has also had the full vinyl treatment!
104 is the only East Midlands Railway Meridian to have received the fully livery, and was originally a 4-car unit.

A unique place to visit
Coughton Court has been the home of the Throckmorton family since 1409. It holds a unique place in English history with its close connections to the Gunpowder Plot of 1605.

Behind the Tudor gatehouse house you will find the courtyard with its fine Elizabethan half-timbering, where a knot garden leads to lawns and fine vistas of the Warwickshire countryside.

The house stands in 25 acres of grounds containing some of the most breathtaking gardens in the country. It was Clare McLaren-Throckmorton's intention to create a garden that complements the beautiful house, and to give it the setting it deserves. She also wanted to create a wide variety of gardens: formal and informal, traditional and innovative. Created over the last 15 years, the gardens are now mature and varied and are solely managed by the Throckmorton family.
This unique building is the home to NHK's Osaka broadcasting center (the larger one located in Shibuya), and the Osaka Museum of History. It was completed in 2001 and has eighteen floors in addition to three basement levels with an area of 89,823 square meters. They are located in the area that was once the old Naniwa Palace grounds during the 7th century, across the street from Osaka-jo.
NHK is Japan's national public television company. It is officially known as Nihon Hoso Kyokai, but known in English as the Japan Broadcasting Corporation. It was originally a radio network famous for its Tokyo Rose broadcasts during WWII, but ventured into television in 1950. It is now the biggest television network in Japan. Their programming includes anime such as Gundam, popular dramas, news, and is now well-known for their Domo-kun character.

One of the most amazing things about Sheffield is its unique blend of beautiful countryside and urban cityscape. In just a few hops, the friendly critters who have found their home at the base of this elephant, created by Aimee and Josh Williams, could find themselves roaming around a sunny day in the Sheffield city centre. In their second addition to the herd these artists have paid tribute to some of the most familiar scenes in the city, including the iconic multi-coloured Park Hill flats, the Crucible and the Arts Tower.

Summer 2016, a herd of elephant sculptures descended on Sheffield for the biggest public art event the city has ever seen!
58 elephant sculptures, each uniquely decorated by artists, descended on Sheffield’s parks and open spaces, creating one of the biggest mass participation arts events the city has ever seen. Did you find them all?
The trail of elephants celebrates Sheffield’s creativity with over 75% of artists from the city. Some well-known names include Pete McKee, James Green, Jonathan Wilkinson and Lydia Monks – each of which has put their own creative mark on a 1.6m tall fibreglass elephant sculpture. They are all very difference, take a selfie with your favourite as they will be on display until the end of September.
International artist Mark Alexander, who is currently working with Rembrandt for an exhibition in Berlin, flew to Sheffield especially to paint his elephant and international players from the World Snooker Championship signed SnookHerd, an elephant celebrating the heritage of snooker in Sheffield.
The Arctic Monkeys, famous for their love of their home city, added their signatures to their own personalised sculpture which pays homage to the striking sound wave cover of the band’s 2013 album “AM”.

The Herd of Sheffield Farewell Weekend was held on 14-16 October and was your chance to say a last goodbye to all 58 large elephant sculptures as they gather in one place for a final send-off at Meadowhall.
This special event gave visitors a chance to see the entire herd in all its glory – from the signed Arctic Monkeys’ ‘AM’ elephant, right through to ‘SnookHerd’, autographed by a host of international snooker players including current world champion Mark Selby.
Please note that the Little Herd elephants will not be on display as they will be returned to their school for pupils to enjoy.

Functionality, subtle design cues, 2 doors instead of 4, and above all: uniqueness.
The Renault Avantime is all of those. It has lots of interior room, no gaudy bodywork, 2 doors, and it looks like nothing else.

You will in the Renault Avantime, because no other car has quite the visual impact of the the French firm's coupe-cabriolet-MPV. With striking, futuristic looks that even earned it an appearance in the distopian film Children of Men, the Avantime deserves to be remembered.
The R&D and production of the Renault Avantime was made by Matra, a French manufacturer which partnered with Renault, and represented the first 2-door MPV coupe ever produced. The Avantime is also one of a few concept cars produced by a volume manufacturer that has gone straight into production within two years of first being seen by the general public, and redefined luxury travel and passenger safety at the time. The first concept "Coupéspace" was unveiled in 1999 at the Geneva Auto Show and the production started 2001. In terms of engines, the Avantime could be found in three engine configurations, ranging between 2.0- and 3.0-liter, developing up to 210 horsepower.
The two-tone bodywork (created through the use of aluminium for the upper panels) brings a special style to the Renault Avantime. The vehicle was super-luxurious back in 2001-2003. The Avantime combines comfort, style and performance wrapped in a distinctive, innovative, attention-grabbing body, with design project manager Thierry Metroz admitting at the time he “wanted someone walking around the car to be continually astonished”.
The combination of performance and driving enjoyment, the luxury of interior space and comfort, heightened by the panoramic glass roof and four windows which could all be lowered at the touch of a button put the Renault Avantime at the top of the wish list of anyone seeking to stand out from the crowd, see and be seen, in style and in comfort.
Unfortunately production only lasted 18 months due to Matra being unable to find a replacement model for Espace III production that was coming to a close leaving them with too much excess capacity. This has made the Avantime, something of a rarity on the roads. The global production reached 8,557 units - compared to 12,920 Citroën SM - by 2003, the same year when the French parent company Renault decided to discontinue the model. This helped to build a cult following among current and past owners and enthusiasts of this iconic design classic.
The appearance of the Renault Avantime - designed by Patrick le Quément - is still innovative to the absence of central body pillars, two-stage parallel opening doors, and the large single opening glass roof panel.
The Avantime is an extraordinary car: no doubt about that!
The mostly cloudy skies were providing a unique light on Upper Yosemite Falls at this moment. A far-above-normal snowfall in 2011 provided an also-unique amount of water flowing over these falls.

A completely unique vehicle laying in a rural field in the Scottish Highlands.
Q224 GFV is a complicated thing and history of the vehicle on the internet seems scarce. The best info came from Westerbus themselves, the former owner approx. 15 years ago before it came to lay in this field forever more.
It apparently has a Bedford chassis, a Perkins Ford engine and the basis of a Willowbrook body, but it was hand built by students in Liverpool. A combination like that deserves a Q plate - an identification the DVLA give 'to vehicles whose age or identity is in doubt'.
The farmer who's land it now sits on apparently bought it 15 years ago for it's engine to go in a dumper truck, but that never happened and it's sat about ever since. Considering it's been left to the elements of the Highland weather for so long, it cosmetically looks it's held up quite well. Unsure whether it still runs or not, in 15 years (to my knowledge) it has only moved from the roadside of the farm to closer to the railway line that passes by.
