i recently installed ubuntu karmic (which, AAMOF was easy and painless) and found the "science department" in the ubuntu software center. i'm just starting to discover some of its goodies but it seems to be an interesting repertoire of software tools for amateur and professional scientists.

很有趣，今天要下班時看到螢幕右上角的天氣資訊，就點了下去看一下概況，突然發現這個有趣的顯示。攝氏29度，但後面又加上了「感覺像是34.9度」這好好玩啊。天氣的小工具是Ubuntu Linux桌面內建的功能，只要你設定好電腦的所在位置，就會告訴你當前天氣概況與日出日落時間。

A friend of mine told me that LINUX is so hard to use!!
While I think it is a perfect system for users and servers. Especially a user who's a programmer. So I made a screenshot to impress him.
