Our t-shirts this year were of the draw-your-own variety. That and the presence of Jack-Kirby-inspired comic Doris Danger Seeks Where Giant Monsters Creep & Stomp have produced … Ubuntu!!

Ubuntu 9.04 with Conky. Got the wallpaper from deviant art. The Conky is just a basic one I got off the ubuntu forums. I didn't use any special themes, just fooled about with the window and panel colors under appearance and panel properties.

i recently installed ubuntu karmic (which, AAMOF was easy and painless) and found the "science department" in the ubuntu software center. i'm just starting to discover some of its goodies but it seems to be an interesting repertoire of software tools for amateur and professional scientists.

I attempted to synchronize my Motorolla Razor via bluetooth/USB, but I failed miserably
If anyone can help me with this problem with Ubuntu 8.04 on a GeForce Go 440 I'll be very happy. The system seems to think that the display's maximum resolution is 1400 by 1050, when it really is 1600 by 1200. Hence the extra 200 pixels of rubbish on the right and the 150 pixles of repeated screen at the base.
