So, the machine is working, has Ubuntu 6.10 installed and MythTV 0.20. Also have the VFD display working and almost have the volume knob working. IR is working and DVD playback works. Next step is to take it home, rig it up to our aerial and see if I can get any Freeview channels. Then the reall fun starts =)

I also need to make it all quieter, the stock P4 CPU coolers are noisy!

I'm trying out the new Parallels VM that was released today. It runs pretty nice. I didn't notice any real slowdown while running it. In fact, I was working in Photoshop while it was installing in the background and never noticed any real drag.

Ubuntu-dapper에 DSVisualizer를 설치했다. 이게 리눅스용으로 나와 있을거라고는 생각을 안했었는데... 지금 보는 모습으로는 윈도우용과 기능적인 차이가 전혀 없어 보인다.
