An ubuntu branded laptop in glossy black or white plastic with a glowing ubuntu logo. Apple aesthetics all the way. That would draw some attention.
With media functionality out of the box, it would be a guaranteed high seller.

Introducing “Ubuntu,” available at The Dubai Event 02/20 today. An outdoor lounge set inspired by the African philosophy of ubuntu, which means “I am because we are.” This set celebrates unity and community. The nude tribal prints adorning the sofa evoke a sense of belonging and cultural heritage. A fire table with sleek design and inviting flames, Ubuntu creates an atmosphere of unity and togetherness, reminding us that our connections to one another are what truly ignite the human spirit.
This word represents a philosophy of human kindness and is a word of the land of Desmond Tutu,Is a photo from in the garden with a textured background
Ubuntu is an ancient African word meaning ‘humanity to others’. It also means ‘I am what I am because of who we all are’.
Ubuntu is the essence of being human. Ubuntu speaks particularly about the fact that you can't exist as a human being in isolation. It speaks about our interconnectedness. You can't be human all by yourself, and when you have this quality "Ubuntu" you are known for your generosity.
We think of ourselves far too frequently as just individuals, separated from one another, whereas you are connected and what you do affects the whole world. When you do well, it spreads out; it is for the whole of humanity..
(***This strange mix of tiger ASIAN and this child AFRICAN has a behind meaning maybe only to me. As I lived in Asia and Africa and learned so much in these two places, UBUNTU)

A person with Ubuntu is open and available to others, affirming of others, does not feel threatened that others are able and good, based from a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that he or she belongs in a greater whole and is diminished when others are humiliated or diminished, when others are tortured or oppressed.
I was very bored so thought why not make some ubuntu stickers.
This is based on an old sticker I had seen somewhere. So not exactly an original idea.

Recently I have moved to Ubuntu Linux. This is so good, much better than windows XP, very user friendly, supports almost any hardware straight out of box. We can run windows specific programs also using a special software called Wine. I never thought the transition from windows to Linux is such easy. What a great work by open source community.
Ask me for any information, I am glad if any one what to use Ubuntu. I will always extend my help.
It's an HP ZE5200, 2.8 Ghz, 1028 Meg, 60gig, running Ubuntu 6.06 LTS Dapper Drake. I took out the Linksys/broadcom wireless miniPCI. It just wouldn't link up with Ubuntu. The Belkin 54G USB Network adapter works out-of-the-box. There's a "Powered By Ubuntu" stick on the lower left corner. I made it.

Its name describes in an onomatopoeic way the feeling one gets upon installing and using this wonderful OS after a lifetime of Microsoft OS. I toyed with Linux in the late 90's but became consumed by University studies at the time, and reverted to 'easy' old Windows 95. Having spent the entire previous evening reinstalling Windows XP, not including all the software, it was refreshing to spend just a couple of hours tonight adding this. My first impressions are very good - hassle free automated install, very usable straight away. Why should I ever use Windows again? Windows Vista Ultimate = $400, ubuntu = $0. Hmm. Tricky one.
How bad can an OS be when it will multitask its own installation with games?! I was particularly impressed that on hotplugging my digital camera, the system recognised it with no input from me and offered to import directly into Picasa after downloading. Superb.
So my new Shuttle XPC now has triple-boot capability: Windows XP,Windows Vista RC1 and Ubuntu. Neat, eh?
