Fall in the Garden series.

Any day with a Box Turtle is uplifting....I lifted this handsome fellow off the path. He was having breakfast.

Ohio Central's ZVL (Zanesville Local) job passes an old crane as it brings some cars down the last mile of the OHCR Subdivision on the west side of Zanesville. Wonder how long that crane has been sitting there?

From September 2025 Transport for Wales has improved the timetable for marathon TrawsCymru Service T5 (Haverfordwest-Fishguard-Newport-Aberporth-New Quay-Aberaeron-Aberysytwyth) by increasing the Weekday Daytime frequency to hourly and removing the requirement to change buses at Cardigan, a quirk previously introduced by the contractor, Richards Bros.

An all-year round two hourly Sunday timetable has also been implemented.

Richards Bros are standardising on MCV eVoRa-bodied Volvo B8RLEs for the contract, which has a peak vehicle requirement of eight. The 21-plate and the three 25-plates currently allocated have recently been joined by a pair of 19-plates operated by Stagecoach on TrawsCymru Services T4 & T14, though are yet to enter service.

BV24 LND is allocated to Newport depot and on Weekdays is usually found operating TrawsCymru Service T11 (Haverfordwest-Newgale-Solva-St Davids-Fishguard) alongside sister BV25 LNE and two-tone blue and red BV19 LLR. However, she was doing the honours on the T5 in this Sunday shot from October 2025, as she crosses The Parrog in Goodwick when heading north.

Ice is sometimes like music. Its simple elements can have many constructs and tones, and can be uplifting.

A random assortment of veggies makes an unexpectedly uplifting picture. Makes a nice soup, too.

These photos are capturing some magical moments , with the 2 blooming Cherry Trees, growing in our back Garden! This variety is botanically called Prunus "Kanzan", and it is also known as "Sekiyama", or "Hisakura". They are 2 adorable trees , which I always prune after blooming , because I do not wish them to become enormous. Their blooming period is very short --- 10 days or something..---but their Beauty, is an absolute delight for our garden and ourselves!

This beautiful view that stopped me in my tracks coming out of the front door of the Huntsville Embassy Suites following business meetings.

Taken in 2014. I loved this picture, so I decided to revisit the processing on it after taking a year using lightroom regularly.

The sense of community generated locally as we deal with the day to day issues of the crisis is uplifting.
