A covered area at the back of the University. The photo shows an optical illusion, which is not visible when one is standing there looking at it. The roof parts are all like the first one, but the photo shows them different shapes.

To many, the idea of joining a monastery is one of the most extreme life choices one can make. This is especially true in a culture that arguably worships such things as sex and wealth, instead of a more traditional God. Monastic life could be described as an extraordinary non-conformist path when compared to mainstream culture. This is truly a set apart group in more ways than one. The most obvious and immediate difference are the robes, known as 'habits'. To most this is a symbol of the unique commitment these men have made to their faith. Beyond unique, this level of devotion may appear foreign, mysterious or even heroic.
