Typography II, Final

Calendar system using a dilatational grid system. The calendar show the life span of a bee, along with a quote from Einstein explaining how important the bee is to human existence.

final outcome of a typography brief in which the idea was to promote a font using only two colours, I had the font 'Caslon' and chose to concentrate on the idea that it used to be really popular, yet not is slipping away and would like to regain more recognition.

Double-faced flowery/striped letters.

Size 7–9 cm.

Once set of typography through another window. In Soho.

Participating in a photo assignment with few other, one photo a week.

Each week has a specific theme, chosen by one of us, this weeks theme was Typography / Lettering. Even though this picture was not taken during the week, I decided to post it anyway...

So yeah... 303 like the music synth. The serifs on the 3s are insane.

 

(I went to Smithsonian's Museum of American History in December 2005, this is just a raw set of pictures I took while I was there. Mostly I was interested in typography examples.)
